| Great Movie, Bad DVD
I own this movie on vhs and wanted it on dvd so I just bought this one. I had to try it in four players before I got it to work and even then it froze at the end of the film.

| Day of Triffids ( Outstanding)
Day of the Triffids review Great film all around. A meteor shower makes everybody blind. This makes them easy pry for carnivous plants that layed dorment until this meteor shower stimlated them to go on their murderous rampage.

| Great film, but DVD has edits
A science fiction classic, but at least one scene is cut from this dvd that appeared on the vhs... when Masen and Susan flee London by boat right after the jet crash, there is a dialogue scene on board the boat followed by explosions amongst the ships that were hit by the plane.

It was a hoot, by the way SWIGUS, their was a britsh remake a couple of years ago, You might want to look around for it.
