Muppet Christmas Carol Movie Review Average Rating: (5 out of 5 stars) The muppets make this move enjoyable for all ages! This has become an annual tradition to for my family and I to watch during every Christmas season.
This Charles Dickens novel about Ebeneezer Scrooge, caught the attention of my 7 yr old son, when "the Muppets", bring alot of laughter and at the same time it teaches many lessons of how we should all live and how we should see Christmans. The songs had special messages for the whole family to enjoy. Submitted by mattie4sure (San Antonio) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
The Muppet Christmas Carol This movie was without a doubt the best of the "Christmas Carol" movies. It was heatwarming, funny, and the most beautiful costumes and scenery. I have watched this movie again and again and even watch it when it's not any where near Chritmas just to get that feeling that you get when a movie really touches your heart. Paul Willimas music is superb and Michael Cain IS scrooge. I highly recommend this movie to anyone with a heart for Christmas and the child inside. Submitted by nuthatch1 (Cleveland, Tn.) Magical and heartwarming It was a thrill to take my children to see, Muppets Christmas Carol, years ago. When my VHS copy wore out a couple of years ago, my son bought it on DVD, for me, for Christmas. One of our family traditions every Christmas, is to watch the movie. My grandson watched it with us this year, for the first time. It is magical, funny, sentimental, and inspiring. Donna. Submitted by dscoging (Ontario, Canada) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

$10.25 In the tradition of such improv-driven comedies as BEST IN SHOW and A MIGHTY WIND, director Zak Penn (INCIDENT AT LOCH NESS) casts an affectionate eye on the world of professional poker in his highly entertaining mockumentary, THE GRAND. Penn assembles an impressive ensemble of comedic performers and poker personalities to tell the story of six competitors in a $10 million winner-take-all Las Vegas poker tournament. Leading the way is One-Eyed Jack Faro (Woody Harrelson), a charming rogue whose addiction to drugs and quickie marriages has put his grandfather's casino on the brink of bankruptcy. Also vying for the prize are Lainie and Larry Schwartzman (Cheryl Hines, David Cross), two hyper-competitive siblings still angling for their father's favor; old school Vegas tough guy "Deuce" Fairbanks (Dennis Farina); socially inept math whiz Harold Melvin (Chris Parnell); and impossibly "Aw, shucks!" ...
