$22.15 Director Hugh Hudson's absorbing drama, based on a true story, deals with the personal struggles faced by two very different long-distance runners competing for Britain in the 1924 Paris Olympic Games. Eric Liddell (Ian Charleson) is a devout Christian who sees victory as a testament to the glory of God, while the other, Harold Abrahams (Ben Cross), is a Jewish Cambridge student who sees victory as a challenge to anti-Semitism and his ongoing struggle for acceptance by Britain's elite. Eric, a hometown Scottish hero to the people, gives rousing sermons after victory and works at a local missionary. Harold runs with a zealous commitment, upsetting Cambridge's educational upper crust (played with enjoyable wit and candor by Sir John Gielgud and Lindsay Anderson) while enjoying social life with his university chums and his beautiful showgirl girlfriend (Alice Krige). But when faced with such a competent challenger, Harold hires trainer Sam Mussabini (Ian Holm) to further his dreams of winning the gold. Ultimately, the two runners meet in Paris to run for British victory in a rousing finale. Featuring an unforgettable soundtrack by Vangelis, this Academy Award-winning film is an inspirational story of athletic excellence and spiritual ...

$11.15 In this gentle comedy, a young African American male (played by Wesley Johnson), who acts as a substitute pastor in a local community church, pursues a romance with a woman who has lost faith in her religion. The pastor tries to get the local community to accept some of his radical new methods while also attempting to win over the father of the woman he is rapidly falling in love with, leading to not only intense drama but plenty of comedy.
This film is a comedy about a young, hip preacher, Reverend Gibbs (Wesley Jonathan), who becomes the temporary pastor of a small Baptist church in Los Angeles when the stern, long-presiding Reverend Matthews (James Avery) takes an indefinite leave of absence. Coincidentally Reverend Gibbs stumbles upon a young lady, Divine (Jazsmin Lewis), who sparks his interest while ...

$13.25 Derek Zoolander (Ben Stiller) isn't smart, but he looks "really, really good." An empty-headed yet kindhearted male model, the self-absorbed Derek becomes an unwitting pawn in a international assassination plot masterminded by oddball fashion dictator Jacobim Mugatu (Will Ferrell). Meanwhile, the clueless cover guy must also contend with a new rival, a blonde hipster named Hansel (Owen Wilson). Only adding to his troubles is Matilda Jeffries (Christine Taylor), an inquisitive and sensitive journalist.
Stiller's charming and silly comedy liberally skewers the fashion industry while showcasing the actor-director-screenwriter's ...
