A veritable who's who of adult contemporary and jazz artists grace this compilation, each paying homage in a soft, warm, and inviting way that is ideal for background music at almost any holiday gathering imaginable. Ever the philosopher, Stewart proclaims in the liner notes that "special times in our lives can be made even more memorable when accompanied by great music," and she does her best to provide an ideal atmosphere in which to present these tunes. As expansive as this collection may be, it's hard to envision a holiday scenario where this music wouldn't be a welcome addition.
