Listening to Gene Watson's voice in its spectacular heyday is worth every dime spent on this cd. It is vintage country when country was worth listening to. We can only hope more of Gene's album will be released on cd so more people can enjoy a truly unique voice. (a voice as smooth and sweet as refined slow dripping honey!)

this is possibly the best collection of country ballads i have listened to. and the way they are performed by watson sureley puts him in country musics top 5, i have always been a fan of watson and country music in general and honestly believe that ther'es not many voices as good as his, if you like your country music the way it should be you'll love this.
