Awesome Concert
Loved the concert. Don't buy this if you are expecting Rodgers to replace Mercury. It goes without saying that Paul Rodgers is . . . well, Paul Rodger. No one will ever replace Freddie. But the concert had a good mix of Queen songs. Also glad to hear some old Bad Company stuff as well. The stage show was awesome. Brian May is a hero among lead guitarists, and he showed it in this concert. He's the best. Most have for Queen or Bad Company enthusiasts.

The Music of Queen Lives On!
This concert DVD is superb from start to finish. Hats off to Brian May and Roger Taylor for taking this brilliant music on the road again after a nearly two-decade hiatus. Despite the absence of Freddie Mercury, these songs hold up remarkably well as Paul Rogers breathes new life into them. Beginning way back in 1974, when Queen opened shows for Mott the Hoople (does anyone remember?), I saw these guys every year they toured the US. They never failed to put on an incredible show. Brian May has lost none of his guitar-playing brilliance in the years since. His playing is absolutely stellar on this disc. Any fan of great rock n roll music will appreciate this concert. Highly recommended! (Ignore the bad reviews written by Freddie Mercury fans who clearly wouldn't be satisfied with ANY lead singer replacement! Somebody had to take over lead vocal responsibilities, and Paul Rogers is as good a vocalist as you're gonna find!)

i left the concert smiling
in short, freddie was the best singer, front man, performer ever. i was there in MSG in ny when the bicycle girls did their thing. but being a realist it was a wonderful feeling to take my son to see his fathers favorite band off all time. paul rogers deliverd 100%. a chance to see it again. the sound on the dvd is great brian and roger were as you would expect-respectful of freedies memories.QUEEN and paul, a true pro took us through the 2 hour sing along. a must have. this was one of my better buys. you will find yourself watching it again and again...so do yourself a favor and order it now...
