TALES FROM THE ENGINE ROOM is dance remix by The Positive Light (Mark Daghorn and Marc Mitchell) of Marillion's THIS STRANGE ENGINE album.
Marillion teams up with U.K. dance band the Positive Light to produce a remix album of tracks from the 1997 album This Strange Engine. Although the album breathes new life into a fairly weak release, it will appeal to techno-dance fans far more than Marillion aficionados. The remix of "Memory of Water" was a minor dance club hit in Europe, prompting the general release of the album (the initial release was privately labeled). ~ Dale Jensen Tales From The Engine Room Music | List Price | $11.97 (You save $1.98) | | Category | Rock/Pop Albums, Rock CDs, Progressive, Art Rock | | Label | Snapper | | Orig Year | 1998 | | CD Universe Part number | 6974703 | | Catalog number | 184 | | Discs | 1 | | Release Date | Nov 15, 2005 | | Studio/Live | Studio | | Mono/Stereo | Stereo | | Producer | Marc Mitchell; Mark Daghorn | | Engineer | Marc Mithchell | | Recording Time | 58 minutes |

| | Wendy Jans Today CD (2007)
Tales From The Engine Room album
$13.15 On the title track of her debut album Today, Wendy Jans sings 'Today I'll walk in bare feet even if it rains!' setting the tone for an album about living life intentionally and not being afraid to live and love outside the lines.Jans, who is originally from Iowa but now calls Nashville home, has garnered attention not only for her unique voice but also her vocal range. While studying opera as a mezzo-soprano, she sang twice at Carnegie Hall, but it's Wendy's smooth and intimately soulful alto voice that prevails in the music of Today. On 'Invincible', her low voice is an unexpected juxtaposition from her petite frame. Disarmingly versatile, she exudes emotion while embracing the stylistic diversity of each song on the album. Wendy Jans is respected for her songwriting abilities and collaboration as a co-writer. She came to Nashville to entrench herself into the songwriting community and quickly garnered a publishing deal with a Music Row publisher. A finalist in the International Song Search with honorable mentions in the Billboard World Song Contest and Nashville Song Search, Wendy was named winner of the River Bluff Performing ...
