I reviewed this DVD before seeing the show and appreciated the film more. The background info and scenes are fantastic! The CD is with me in the car and I can actually see the movie again in my head while driving.

Out of this World!
As many have said, and I'll repeat it, totally and amazingly out of this world beautiful! The music truly transports you to Narnia and expresses the true passionate world based on C.S.Louis's imaginative and fantastical novel of Narnia. I totally recommend it and trust me, you'll never regret it. IT's a real favorite amungst my whole family.

This score was expertly and awesomely done. Every feeling, action and scene was not only depicted in the music, but it isn't your run-of-the-mill soundtrack either. It's thematic elements were genious and imaginative, creating a passionate(The Battle) yet almost childlike(Father Christmas)ot the score. I give it ten stars.

this beautiful album, which I have already reviewed, was composed by Harry Gregson-Williams and was phenomenal. I truly feel the need to express my appology by accidentaly crediting John Williams with this score...(my bad, I was listening to Schindler's List at the time...this is by Williams...)

this sound track is quite an interesting masterpeice, like not being able to truely even get close to immagining wat an expecting strangers face will look like untill you actually see it weather good looking or bad looking music is the same you never know what a composers mew music will sound like in this case it is terrific and quite a new unexpected beautiful sounding music that I love and hope you will to!!!!

Bob Washut, a musical product of Northern Iowa University, gathered together two close friends to make a piano trio CD. Of the 11 tunes, seven are Washut compositions. All of his compositions are musical displays of Washut's admiration for specific individuals. Some of those honored are well-known jazz musicians, like Lee Konitz and Rufus Reid, and one song is a tribute to his bass player, Mark Urness. The remaining honorees are individuals who had a positive effect on Washut at some point during his life. The other songs on the play list are by composers whom Washut admires and respects: Alan Broadbent, Andy Razaf (in collaboration with others), and Duke Ellington -- not a bad trio themselves. The final piece on this album is by Urness.
Most of the Washut compositions are introspective and lean toward the melancholy, but there's a bright number thrown in to break the mood, like "Especial-Lee." ...
