This DVD is a documents the reuniting of the band's classic lineup of Chuck Billy, Eric Peterson, Alex Skolnick, Greg Christian, and Louie Clemente, along with John Tempesta, in classic Testament fan favorites shot live in London earlier in 2005. Emerging from the same 1980s San Francisco heavy metal scene that spawned Metallica, Testament soon became one of the pioneers of the burgeoning thrash metal movement. Recorded in 2005, the concert film LIVE IN LONDON reunites the band's original lineup for the first time since 1992, featuring vocalist Chuck Billy, guitarists Eric Peterson and Alex Skolnick, bassist Greg Christian, and drummer Louie Clemente delivering thunderous renditions of classic Testament tracks like "The New Order," "Disciples of the Watch," "The Legacy," and "Over the Wall."

BUY!!!! Those who are Testament fanatics, already know the legacy (pun intended) of this band. Although I am still waiting for the next studio album, this is a great stop gap release. On 'Live In London,' the original line up of Testament re-unites for quite the impressive performance. The picture and sound quality are top notch, and there is a short interview with the memebers of Testament in regards to the reunion. Alex and Eric absolutely rip things up and their chemestry is dead on, you would never know that these guys havn't played with each other in years. Greg is solid, and sounds great going solo for the begininng of 'Souls Of Black.' Chuck Billy is a fn' thrash vocal god! Billy has got some pipes, and even after every thing that he has been through health wise, no one can compete with him. In the Drum department we got Tempesta for the first half of the set, and then Louie comes in to finish things off. Tempesta is deffinately the better drummer, but Louie does a solid job. All the songs on this DVD, are taken off the albums that featured the above line-up, so sorry, there is no 'Dog Faced Gods.' At this point I really don't care which Testament line-up records the next Thrash classic, as it is obvious, that as long as Chuck and Eric are holding things together, it will be Testament, and it will be GREAT. This DVD is a killer......................... Wow....!!!!!!Honestly,I've rarely seen a concert with that intensity, it's simply one of the best DVD/CD ever made. I put it in my top three of best concerts on DVD (along with MORDRED : In This Live, and Black Sabbath : The Last Supper). Skolnick is a genius, and John Tempesta puts his magic touch on drums. I think Chuck Billy's vocals are better than ever : darker and lower, but he can still sing with melody. I would have put 6 stars...

superb!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WITH THE ORIGINAL BAND MEMBERS PLAYING TOGETHER, STILL THEY BRING THE HOUSE DOWN, HARD AND HEAVY, PURE METAL. THE VIDEO AND SOUND QUALITY IS PERFECT AND THE SONG LIST IS PERFECT. Testament still delivers This is really an honest, straight forward production that makes you feel like you are at the show. The setlist is somewhat short, but is representative of the band. Chuck Billy's vocals are a little rough, and he likes to growl (like many of the current metal bands seem to like to do) in the newer Testament offerings. He sings melody in the older songs, though, but with some difficulty. The guitar work of Alex Skolnick makes the video worth owning, however, and I had no idea he was such a virtuoso (I have never seen them live until this video). For the price of a CD, this video is well worth having, if not just for the older material. Crank it up and enjoy!
