Before getting his start as a DJ on the club circuit, Lil Jon was a shy young man with glasses and a skateboard, but eventually managed to turn his experience into frenetic party hits. Jon was invited to work for Jermaine Dupri's So So Def Records in 1993, and also gained exposure as a radio host. As this documentary on Lil Jon illustrates, he eventually mixed tracks for Too Short, Xscape, Total, and Usher, before introducing the hit-making crunk trio of Lil Jon & the Eastside Boyz with Big Sam and Lil Bo.
