| | Eagles - Farewell I Tour: Live From Melbourne DVDs (2004) Digipak
Live 8 DVD
$22.75 The list of accomplishments and accolades accumulated by The Eagles is too long to recount, their music having been a staple of American music since the 1970s, and their popularity never waning. With five number-one singles and four number-one albums, two of which are among the best-selling records of all time, the group has helped form the backbone of classic rock; hits like "Desperado," "Hotel California," and "Lyin' Eyes" are instantly recognizable and timeless. After helping to popularize the Southern California rock sound of the '70s, the group--at this point made up of Joe Walsh, Don Henley, Glenn Frey, and Timothy Schmit--broke up to pursue solo projects, but reunited in 1994 in recognition of the ever-loyal fans who still wanted to see ...

| | Green Day - The Singles DVD (2006) DTS Sound
Live 8 review
$14.99 Filling in grunge's fading pop appeal, Green Day helped kick off a 1990s neo-punk revolution with a string of catchy singles like the infectious "Welcome to Paradise" and the ennui-laced "Longview." This program offers a critical review of the band's singles through rare live-performance clips and interviews with rock critics and journalists, including Lookout! Records founder Larry Livermore.
The Green Day sound has matured so much since they were known as the Sweet Children. Their very first album of stripped back power chords and lo-fi production, when they were with Skene! Records, was only the beginning of their ascent. For the first time on DVD, laced with rare archive footage and recordings, every single is analysed in intimate ...
