 I like this one more than his other works
Haven't heard something like this for quite some time in the age of computer music--especially from young musicians. Very refreshing at that, really. Seems John's virtuosity has been overwhelmed by his pop-ish kind of work (they're pretty good as well though).

 Best Live Record Of The 2000's
I really love this record Mayer really shows his guitar chops on this one!!!I listen to this record quite often.Steve Jordan and Pino Palladino are fantastic as well.It really captures how great live records can be.In this day an age of rap and manufactured rock and pop.Mayer stands alone as a true musician.If you love Mayer then You'll love this record as well.

Amazing! Just listen to this guy play guitar and you will think SRV and Hendrix somehow merged into Mr. Mayer. The songs are well written and the playing is just amazing. He really shines in live performances were he jams a bit more. Try the live stuff!

 Great Jazz Sound On This CD!
Its very refreshing to hear something like this cd. I think it is what music is lacking today and I hope John and the trio go more in this direction then his previous albums. He is a great guitar player to go along with his writing abilities and I would love to hear it more. I also love the additions of Steve Jordan and Pino because they bring a great quality and sound in the trio, something special. Keep it up John, I love these new songs and the cover of Hendrix is just nasty!

 The Best of his CD's so far!!!
As soon as I hear the clip of Vultures and Gravity I knew I had to buy this CD. This is the best of his CD’s I’ve heard so far. What I like about John Mayer is that his music is real. This CD is not made up of one or two songs that he wrote and the rest are merely just “tracks” to fill-in space. They are all truely talented inspired SONGS that were all creatively put together by him. Being that it is a Live CD you can put this on and you are drawn into it as if you were sitting in the audience the night it was recorded. John Mayer skillfully set’s a atmosphere throughout this album that has you in tuned to every note that is sung and played by this talented Artist. Adding to that atmosphere are to guys that are not to be simply looked over. On bass guitar you have the talented Pino Palladino and Steve Jordan on the drums who both have worked with numerous big names in the music industry. So if you don’t have this album I recommend that you go out and get it and listen for yourself.
