There was a lot of hype this being the last Godzilla movie. I've been a fan since I was a kid and as an adult my interest has not disappeared. This was for me rather a rush job, with so many characters or monsters and not being able to enjoy a real monster slugfest!
I enjoyed more the movies that came before.

Armpit Sniffing Bandit Strikes Again!
Forgive my headline. I just love silly things that make me laugh, "Godzilla" being one of the silliest. Don't get me wrong, I'd never diss the king of all monsters. I'm just about to turn 36 and, looking back, few creatures have helped me mis-spend my youth in so satisfying way as the G-man, and while the later versions of Toho's monster series (post 1980) don't tickle me nearly as well as "King Kong vs Godzilla" or the great Smog Monster/Megallon/Mechagodzilla smackdowns of the Seventies, I did enjoy seeing Godzilla open up a super-sized can of fire-breathing whoop-ass on that phoney CGI American Godzilla (aka Fraudzilla). That brilliant stroke alone earns my thumbs up. Long live men in rubber suits!

Great finale
I'm glad they were able to bring most of the other monster into this movie. I was surprised that they brought the American Godzilla in. I would have liked to see Jr. as an adult though.

Oh, No! They say he's got to go, go, go - Godzilla!
This is one of the best Godzilla movies of all-time, in my opinion. It's got everything including a surprise visit from GINO, the American version of Godzilla. It also has Kung-Fu Fighting aliens, Super-Powered Mutant Humans, Star Wars inspired space battles, Giant Monsters galore, and even a cute little baby Godzilla.
Any movie that packs all of that into one package is okay in my book. This movie is just one big zany, fun-filled, action-packed giant monster slug-fest perfect for a Saturday Night monster movie marathon!
