Nikolaus Harnoncourt directs the Concentus Musicus Wien and Toelzer Knabenchor in Bach's masterwork. Featured soloists are Peter Schreier and Robert Holl. Performed in 1982, this version of Bach's WEIHNACHTSORATORIUM finds conductor Nikolaus Harnoncourt leading an impressive cast--including German tenor Peter Schreier, Dutch bass-baritone Robert Holl, and the Soloists of the Tolzer Knabenchor--through the six-part production, which was shot at the Stiftskirche in Austria.
