| | Caliban Shadow Hearts CD - Import Caliban Discography of CDs
(1 Customer Review)
Originally released in 2003, SHADOW HEARTS is the second full-length album by the German metal-core band Caliban. Here throat-shredding screams are occasionally joined by melodic vocals, as lumbering rhythms and fierce guitar riffs create the jagged instrumental terrain. This is unapologetically harsh music that is sure to please fans of extreme metal--and frighten everyone else.
Includes 2 bonus tracks.

Recorded at Woodhouse Studios, Hagen, Germany in September 2002.

$10.15 When it comes to rock and roll, few indeed are the bands that can truly carry the title of a Rock and Roll Band. In a world where the prepackaged rock star is paraded about like a county-fair cow, Triggerfish has emerged as a bellwether for what is rock, and what is not. Calling Upstate, SC its home and the world its stage, Triggerfish has but one mission: To be identified as the rock and roll band. The story of Triggerfish is best told by first acquainting you with the individuals that comprise it. With a mouthful of Beta-58 microphone and a jet black Stratocaster, Jeremy Scruggs brings attitude and charisma back to the role of the front man. He started as a hard-hitting drummer and evolved into a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter with a love of things kept simple. A native of upstate South Carolina, Jeremy has spent time on the music scenes of Nashville and Atlanta, and has toured the nation with various and sundry acts. With his relatable lyrical style and flowing sense of melody, he established a solid name for himself as a solo-acoustic performer. Even then, he refused to fit the profile. He was notorious for upstaging full bands with his high energy and outrageous cover selection. Next, standing at about 6 feet and 1 inch, and fitting comfortably into a size 2, is the band's youngest member and bassist, Kyle Nicholson. Just eighteen years old, and fresh out of high school, Kyle found much success with his former band Ploma Drive. Kyle was soon off to the city to attend the Art Institute of Atlanta and further pursue a career in the music business. Given his unique bass riffs and keen sense of style, Kyle is the kind of bassist that every rock and roll band should have. Bringing weight and additional melody to the quartet, along with attitude and face-shredding guitar licks ...
| | Kenny Martin As We Walk CD (2008)
Shadow Hearts songs
$11.49 As We Walk RecordsKenny Martin carries a message of hope, dignity, and love with humor and compassion. His music is a fusion of rock and jazz influences filtered through a variety of keyboards, kick-in rhythm section and a smoking saxophone. His vocal style and harmonies are reminiscent of rock greats, while taking you to new heights in contemporary music. Kenny Martin came from an unknown part of the galaxy and landed on this planet in 1967 near a small island close to Detroit, Michigan called Gross Ile. Kenny instantly had an affinity for music and started playing the piano at the age of four. At the time, Kenny was inspired by The Beatles, Yes, Emerson, Lake, and Palmer, and Todd Rungren. At the age of seven, Kenny became more serious and was inspired by Chick Corea, Gino Vannelli and George Duke. His first gig came at the age of eighteen playing the piano at The Montauk Yatch Club. He then attended Ithaca College where he studied music and broadcasting. By this time, Steely Dan had become a big influence on Kenny and he became more of a writer and singer. Kenny played in a number of bands and ended up in Montreal where he started making more serious albums, including his critically-acclaimed CD 'As We Walk.' After playing in Montreal and Toronto, Canada, Kenny has returned to Las Vegas ready to hit the big-time with 'Tomorrow's Memory' and to play LIVE on the Famous Las Vegas Strip. The latest breaking news has Kenny Martin welcoming the highly accomplished musician Ronnie Foster as his band leader and keyboard artist. Together they plan to take the Las Vegas Strip music scene to a different level with these freshly inspired songs from both of the new album releases currently available.
