this is the fastest most dominating death metal i have bought.....all tracks are extreme,,but one slow song is included.....still amazing....great buy.....try dying fetus as well

 brutal...but not as much
Now despite 4 of the songs sounding quite similar, and the "epic" song being more repetetive than Nascar...The Berzerker still comes through. I'd have to suggest purchasing either Dissimulate or the Self-Titled before you indulge in World Of Lies.

this cd is as good as all there others. i mean you listen to this music because its fast and crazy as hell. it does just that with adding some new flare buy it and crank up the sub woofer!

 The Berzerker has become boring
On this album is nothing interesting, maybe apart from the last song which is something new in "berzerker`s music". Songs from 1 to 12 are pretty all the same. I agree with the most rewiewers, that World of Lies isn`t as much fascinating and exiting, as the self-titled album was.

It is good but nothing compared to dissimulate/self titled album.
Recommended track - Black Heart - Cool bass riff in there.

With a shockingly tight performance and a handful of evil anthems, Glen Benton and company managed to craft a death metal classic with their eponymous debut. Taking their Satanism to a new level of seriousness, Benton was burning crosses into his forehead and desecrating churches to promote this album, something that didn't exactly endear them to the mainstream metal media. While similar (and even weaker) groups were getting hyped up as the leaders of the death metal underworld, this album struck a chord that would, for good or bad, instantly inspire legions of like-minded groups. The riffs are actually memorable, with insane blastbeat drums and an uncanny sense of timing guiding the songs as they charge through one by one. 1968, the 12 track album from France Gall, returns in this remastered rerelease.
Definitely the weirdest record of France Gall's career, 1968 (released in 1967, of course, much as Beatles '65 came out in 1964) shows the influence of British psychedelia as it came across the English Channel. Like Merseybeat and other musical forms before it, though, psychedelia was twisted by French musicians into something idiosyncratically Gallic. Even though echoes of Revolver and Sgt. Pepper (and others) are all over this, it's still identifiably French, and unmistakably France Gall. The sources of the Donovan-like boinging sitars on "Chanson Indienne" and the Kinksy music hall rush of the swinging "Avant la Bagarre" ("Before the Brawl," interestingly enough) are clear, but Gall's perky-wispy voice and the indefinably but unmistakably French sound of the arrangements and production -- one gets the sense that these are older, jazz-based ...
