Gravity knows no limits in the high-intensity high-octane world of Supercross! Packed withe extreme action and hardcore spills and thrills, Supercross takes motor sports excitement to new heights. Included is footage of actual championships. Deeply in love with motorcycles, orphaned brothers K.C. (Steve Howey) and Trip (Mike Vogel) Carlyle clean pools to support their hunger for competitive motocross--dreaming of the day when they can get professional sponsorship and compete in the stadium event known as Supercross. Younger Trip is a loose cannon, constantly taking risks that make him a liability for a professional team. As a result, K.C. is the first to get sponsored. Unfortunately, just before his first race, he finds that he was hired simply to make sure that no one gets near the team's star, Rowdy Sparks (Channing Tatum). K.C.'s jealousy gets the best of him until he embarks on a romance with a spirited young female rider, Piper Cole (Cameron Richardson), whose biker father Robert Patrick (TERMINATOR 2) sees a potential winner in Trip and decides to give him sponsorship.
Loud and colorful, with enough gravity-defying motorcross action to satisfy any fan, former stuntman Steve Boynum's directorial debut conveys the dangers of the sport as well as the fierce competition and corporate backstabbing it involves. Robert Patrick shines in his brief but effective role. Boasting a sexy young cast and plenty of stunt riding, SUPERCROSS is sure to give younger viewers enough eye candy to breezily pass 90 minutes. Supercross: The Movie Movie Review Average Rating: (4 out of 5 stars) Packaging We were a little concerned when we opened the movie. The disk was bouncing around inside as the holder was broken and pieces were floating around. We wiped the movie down with a damp cloth and played it in our DVD player and thank goodness, it was fine. Just wanted to let you know that. Overall we are happy with the movie. "Supercross" Mix Plus Edge Some past drama mix it up with a new edge in this sporting variety show, set in an intense world of the competitive cycle tour.
"Supercross" bolt and jam editing during the documentary style cycling races find a truth, even with the obvious contrived structure.
The fact that all the stunt riders needed to qualify for the events up through the THQ World Championship final race is a test, and telling of the battles overcome to make this unusual motion picture.
Tyler Evans was chosen out of the pack to act the part of the movie "bad guy" and he is more than able proven.
Looks like Sophia Bush and Channing Tatum will go on to be true Hollywood film cornerstones, and they did good here too.
A bevy of beautiful event spectators add much, and build on the live event "Bling" and Grind portrait for this sport flick.
Some old fashioned film technique probably stages a lovingly focused quest for the seasoned Stunt Director Steve Boyum and his travelling band.
Find out what Steve thinks of the movie during the optional full-length Director monologue commentary over-dub, on this dual-sided DVD with Dolby 5.1 standard and widescreen versions. Then visit with some of the actors and stunt men during the Specials.

$12.39 The title of this television-advertised compilation may be arrogant, but then the tango is not a dance for the shy and retiring. Whether or not it is, as it claims, The Best Tango Album in the World, Ever!, the two-disc set, containing 30 tracks and running a little less than an hour and a half, does feature some major performers of the music, notably Carlos Gardel, renowned as the father of the tango, heard performing "Volver" and the concluding vocal version of "Mi Buenos Aires Querido," and Astor Piazzolla, who used the tango as a vehicle for composing ...
