Emancipation Of Mimi: Platinum Edition album for sale Product Description
Emancipation Of Mimi: Platinum Edition album for sale by Mariah Carey was released Nov 15, 2005 on the MonarC/Island label. Carey opens the album by exhibiting some of the most sincerely soulful vocals of her career on the one-two punch of the up-tempo "It's Like That" and the beautiful ballad "We Belong Together." Her able voice expertly complements both the hazy hip-hop of Snoop Dogg on "Say Somethin'" and the acrobatics of Twista on the dream-like "One and Only." In her early years, Carey would have adorned the latter track with vocal tricks to show off her five-octave voice, but she has wisely learned to rein in her frills. ...See Full Description

Mary J. Blige Breakthrough CD (2005)
Emancipation Of Mimi: Platinum Edition CD music The album's lead-off single, "Be Without You," a bittersweet slow jam, is representative of the album's themes, which focus on feelings of strength and weakness in love. But whether waxing romantic ("Can't Get Enough") or detailing the travails of the heart ("Baggage"), Blige lays down elastic R&B vocal lines that are second to none. Even a seemingly unlikely duet with Bono and U2 on "One" comes across beautifully, adding a new dimension to that familiar tune.
After her somewhat lukewarm 2003 release LOVE & LIFE, Mary J. Blige returns to her rightful place as the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul with 2005's THE BREAKTHROUGH. Blige enlisted a host of guest producers to contribute tracks to THE BREAKTHROUGH, and the result is one of her strongest and most varied albums. As usual, the sound is a mixture of smooth, urban contemporary and hip-hop edge, but Blige nails it with tracks like the pulsing "Enough Cryin'" (with its rich, multi-layered vocals) and the breezy "Can't Hide From Luv" featuring a guest spot by Jay-Z.
Personnel: Mary J. Blige (vocals); Dave Young, will.i.am, Brook (vocals); Jay-Z (rap vocals); Bryan-Michael Cox (various instruments); Raphael Saadiq (guitar, bass guitar); Craig Brockman (keyboards); U2.

Usher Confessions CD (2004) Top Seller
Emancipation Of Mimi: Platinum Edition album for sale Usher has been a symbol of tender sexuality ever since he shifted from teenage sensation to soulful superstar. He's breathtakingly good at what he does; possessing that undefinable essence known to a select few soul crooners (Al Green, D'Angelo, etc.) who radiate sensuality through song, Usher has reached an apex on the sultry CONFESSIONS, his fifth studio album.
After the obligatory intro, Lil Jon kicks in with his exhortations on the catchy, dance-floor-ready single "Yeah." Usher follows that up with the sublimely sweet "Throwback," a torch song with a fantastic Motown hook. On "Confessions Part II," he exposes his most vulnerable side when admitting to his lover that he's fathered a child with another woman. Exemplifying his versatility, Usher follows the standard pop ballad "Simple Things" with the guitar-riff-driven "Bad Girl," somewhere between 1970s funk and '80s Prince. CONFESSIONS is the sound of an R&B luminary at

Alicia Keys Diary of Alicia Keys CD (2003)
Emancipation Of Mimi: Platinum Edition songs On THE DIARY OF ALICIA KEYS, the classically trained vocalist/pianist follows up the success of her lauded debut by displaying an even more formidable knack for sophisticated soul. The elegant piano intro of "Harlem's Nocturne" quickly gives way to a driving beat and Keys' admission that "there are so many things that are on my mind." This sentiment proves true, as Keys proceeds to run through a wide range of musical styles, from string-laden R&B on "Karma" to Timbaland-produced funk on "Heartburn" to a potent soul-pop medley of "If I Was Your Woman/Walk On By."
Keys' personal touch on DIARY extends to her role as producer on many of the album's tracks, including the sultry, show-stopping "If I Ain't Got You" and the haunting "Diary" (featuring Tony! Toni! Tone!). As this confident sophomore album reveals, SONGS IN A MINOR was no fluke. In fact, DIARY shows Keys just starting to hit her musical stride.

Greatest Hits CDs (2001)
Emancipation Of Mimi: Platinum Edition album for sale Despite various tabloid-worthy tribulations and a rather flat cinematic debut in the musical bio-flick GLITTER, Britney and her fellow singing Mousketeers would do well to take notes on the galactic-sized success of '90s diva Mariah Carey. The two-disc GREATEST HITS bears witness to Carey's mind-boggling chart dominance and her remarkable five-octave range. Encompassing all the chart-toppers of 1998's #1'S compilation including "I Don't Wanna Cry," "Hero," and "One Sweet Day," this anthology traces the Long Islander's path from heartfelt balladeer ("Vision Of Love," "Love Takes Time") to hip-hop flavored dance-pop queen ("Fantasy," "Make It Happen").
Among Mariah's most impressive traits is her ability to seamlessly match up with a wide range of duet partners. When she's not digging into a Jackson 5 hit with Trey Lorenz ("I'll Be There") or playing Diana Ross to Lionel Richie's Luther Vandross (the '80s smash "Endless Love"), Carey is throwing down with Jay-Z ("Heartbreaker") and going toe-to-toe with fellow diva Whitney Houston ("When You Believe"). Other notable collaborations include a harmony-soaked meeting with Boyz II Men ("One Sweet Day"), a sweet-flowing Jermaine Dupri outing ("Sweetheart") and a Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis-produced summit with Joe and 98 Degrees ("Thank God I Found You").
Personnel includes: Mariah Carey (vocals); Trey Lorenz, Jermaine Dupri, Joe, Luther Vandross, 98 Degrees, Boyz II Men, Whitney Houston, Jay-Z, Lil' Bow Wow.
Producers include: Dave Hall, Walter Afanasieff, Mariah Carey, P. Diddy, Jimmy Jam.

E=MCy CD (2008)
Emancipation Of Mimi: Platinum Edition CD music The arrival of E=MC2 in 2008 indicated that Mariah Carey's reign as the queen of pop, and her status as one of the most popular and best-selling artists of all time, wasn't likely to end soon. The follow-up to the 2005 multi-platinum, chart-topping, Grammy-sweeping THE EMANCIPATION OF MIMI, E=MC2 reveals no slackening of focus or ambition, thanks in part to an all-star line-up of production help that includes The Dream, C. "Tricky" Stewart, Jermaine Dupri, will.i.am, Stargate, DJ Troomp, and Antonio "LA" Reid (who co-produced the album with Carey).
As usual, Carey's concentration isn't on club-oriented dance tracks but on smooth, mid-tempo R&B that pulses with sexy glamour. The lead-off single, "Touch My Body," is a case in point, a breathy invocation that induces both romantic feelings and swaying hips, and is classic Carey. Other album highlights include opener "Migrate," a moody, slinky jam; the disco-flavored "I'm That Chick"; and the ballads "I Stay in Love" and "Love Story." Nothing here is a radical departure, but Carey just seems to get better at what she does best: making sexy, listenable, flawlessly crafted R&B.
