This is a totally exciting and poweful score that adds greatly to the movie. The sound quality is spectacular and the symphonic power is all encompassing. The playing of the score is very impressive! I am enjoying listening to this score over and over!

4 stars Pulse-pounding fun space opera music
The music for Zathura screams "space opera" and is quite fun on that level. There are echoes of James Horner and Jerry Goldsmith in John Debney's score, but what I particularly liked was the excitement level that the music drove. It complemented the film's visuals quite well. It doesn't break any new ground, but it's quite enjoyable to listen to if you're not trying to relax.

Based on the story of Leonard Chess, the co-founder of the legendary Chess Records label, CADILLAC RECORDS is a film that chronicles the rise of one of America's great recording institutions. Throughout the 1950s and '60s, Chess was the premiere label for blues and R&B, putting out music by such iconic talents as Howlin'Wolf, Muddy Waters, Chuck Berry, and Bo Diddley.
