Comedy Classics Vol. 7 - 4 Feature Films DVD THE ADMIRAL WAS A LADY A romantic comedy featuring a superb cast, The Admiral Was a Lady tells the delightful, post-WWII story of former WAVE officer Jean Madison (Wanda Hendrix), nicknamed "The Admiral," who has captured the attentions of three lovable losers: well-meaning but jobless ex-GIs Jimmie (Edmond O'Brien), Eddie (Johnny Sands), and Mike (Steve Brodie). Jean, whose AWOL boyfriend is mixed up in some trouble with a vengeful tycoon (Rudy Vallee), is amused by their antics but isn't buying their lines. ALL OVER TOWN When Ole and Chic learn that Joan Eldridge (Mary Howard) is going to lose the theater, where they're employed and which was left to Joan by her father, the zany comedy team plans a fund-raising gala, featuring Sally the Singing Seal—also known as "the eighth wonder of the world." Strangely enough, when one of the show's sponsors is mysteriously murdered, all fingers point to the seal.
BEHAVE YOURSELF! A stray Welsh terrier named Archie is the only living creature that knows where a fortune in stolen loot is hidden, and every crook in town is looking for him. Meanwhile, Archie follows Bill Denny (Farley Granger) home from work and his wife Kate (Shelley Winters) mistakes the dog for an anniversary gift from her blundering husband, who can't seem to figure out why he's constantly being chased by thugs.
THE LADY SAYS NO Best-selling author Dorinda Hatch (Joan Caulfield) has achieved instant fame with the release of her man-trashing book, The Lady Says No, a tell-all that warns women about the wicked ways of men. Bill Shelby (David Niven), a dashing but chauvinistic writer-photographer of a major magazine, arrives in town with the certainty that he can win Dorinda's heart, after which he plans to write an article exposing her as a fraud and a hypocrite.

Comedy Classics Vol. 7 - 4 Feature Films video
$11.35 Comedian and ventriloquist Jeff Dunham hits the stage with hilarious new pals Achmed the Dead Terrorist and Melvin the Super hero, as well as old favorites Peanut, Walter, and Jose Jalapeno, in this sidesplitting performance at Washington D.C.'s Warner Theater.
More than just a stand-up comic, Jeff Dunham is a one-man comedy troupe--a ring-leader in a circus of snark. The veteran ventriloquist may be the only one with vocal chords, but he’s often the least vocal, playing straight man to a steam trunk of personalities: Achmed the Dead Terrorist, a goofball skeleton still fighting the infidels; Peanut, an odd purple creature with a fast mouth; Jose Jalapeño, a smooth-talking pepper on a stick; Bubba J, NASCAR’s biggest fan; and Walter, a dirty old man who speaks his mind. Together with his hilarious and ...

Comedy Classics Vol. 7 - 4 Feature Films DVD
$7.95 Set in Texas in the 1950s, SECONDHAND LIONS tells the touching story of Walter (Haley Joel Osment), a shy teenager sent to stay with two estranged uncles for the summer. Various rumors surround the two uncles (played by Robert Duvall and Michael Caine), mostly because the duo have only recently resurfaced into family life after 40 years spent carrying out misdeeds and illicit activities. The one fact about the men, of which Walter's mom is only too aware, is that they appear to be extremely wealthy, having stashed over one million dollars in cash at an undisclosed location. After initially balking at Walter's inherent shyness and nervous disposition, the two men soon warm to the child, and proceed to tell him some incredible tales of their adventures.
Director Tim McCanlies lets SECONDHAND LIONS unfold at ...
