Pinocchio, the magical puppet who becomes a real boy, returns in his newest adventure. Troubles begin for Pinocchio and his best friend Lampwick, when they decide to skip school and go to a magic carnival run by the mysterious Madame Flambeau. Adapted from the classic children's story by Carlo Collodi, here, Pinocchio (Gabriel Thomson) decides to skip school with his friend Lampwick (Ben Ridgeway) so they can attend a magic carnival run by Madame Flambeau (Udo Kier), who tricks Pinocchio into buying a magic potion that purports to cure any illness. The purchase of the potion forces Pinocchio into a contract with the carnival from which he cannot escape, resulting in an exciting and unforgettable escapade for the magical puppet-boy! Oscar winner Martin Landau stars as the puppetmaker Geppetto in this endearing fantasy tale.

New Adventures Of Pinocchio Movie Review Very trippy and surprisingly imaginative This is one trippy kid flick. I really didn't expect to see so much weirdness in what looked to be a cheapie sequel to a film that nobody saw. What you get is very bizarre here, and I mean that in a good way. This could definitely catch on with the late-night cult movie crowd. There's a strange, foreign bad-guy who dresses as a woman, and all these freaky fish-people. One of those rare kids films that adults can enjoy as well. Submitted by a reviewer (Greenwich, Connecticut) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No This review is for a different format.

$10.49 This relatively little-known film is widely hailed by fans of the macabre. Truly ahead of its time, NIGHTMARE ALLEY is set in the gritty, surrealistic world of traveling carnivals, where eccentric people of all possible varieties interact on a daily basis. In a departure from his usual roles as the Hollywood leading man, handsome Tyrone Power plays a morally questionable circus apprentice determined ...
