The studio follow-up to Killing Joke's fierce 2003 self-titled comeback album, HOSANNAS FROM THE BASEMENTS OF HELL finds the veteran U.K. industrial-rock ensemble returning to its early-1980s "primitive" sound, as clearly announced on the surging opener, "This Tribal Antidote," which showcases Geordie Walker's wire-tight guitar riffs. Although this record doesn't benefit from the rhythmic attack of Dave Grohl (Nirvana, Foo Fighters), a guest on the aforementioned outing, drummer Ben Calvert proves to be a worthy successor, as revealed on the pummeling title track, which also shines the spotlight on frontman Jaz Coleman, who mixes guttural screams with moments of subtle melody. 2006 Latest KJ
These guys have always been under-rated and ahead of their time. The good thing about them is that they are and likely always will be a TRUE cult band. You won't have to worry about the masses taking your precious find away from you - stinking it up with some producers money making stench. They are the real deal! Jaz sells out to no one!

Simply brilliant
Brilliant album from beginning to end,this is Killing Joke�s best outing to date and that is something!relentless and brutal,like having a humongus icicle hanging over our head....amazing album,don�t think,get it!

Killing Joke its not a JOKE!!!!
Great record... if you like industrial or goth metal this is a great option... great vocals, powerfull guitars... keyboards and sampling are just great...
