| Nosferatu Music Review Average Rating: (5 out of 5 stars) First rate power metal Although I was disappointed to see Urban Breed leave Tad Morose, that disappointment evaporated upon listening to Bloodbound. Nosferatu is fantastic and worth the additional cost associated with an import. I recommend it highly. Submitted by Jonathan (Garland, TX, USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
THERE IS A GOD!!!THIS ALBUMS THE BEST!!! You no what when I heard the first album by Bloodbound I thought man it would be cool if they had a truly awesome singer like Urban Breed to really make the already amazing sounding band, really the best, but I thought that would never happen it would be way to cool to actually happen. But guess what,it did.
I haven't actually got the album yet.I've only heard three song's,because they're out of stock at century media. But what I heard was just as I'd wished it would sound.I only have two complaints. One is the album cover doesn't match the sound. They should think more like a Nightmare cover.Maybe the Silent room album, and second they should totally not sing about rainbow's or moons.Urban's done plenty of that kinda stuff, unless they sing about decapitating a unicorn,or like the song into the dark, say that the rainbow is turning grey, and dark.
Plus I think the band could be a little darker lerically, and mix the beat's up a bit more,to not seem so very typically power metal, think maybe Sacred Reich, and the Heal album, but other than that this album is awesome, and I hope they never change their style, atleast not to much, and espescially not their sound, and yes I do at times miss Tad Morose, but this is the perfect band for Urban breed. This is truly a match made in heaven... Wow This album is one of the surprises of the year...just an amazing debut. This is premium power/heavy metal with infectious melodies and choruses that will stick with you. The musicianship and vocals are excellent...and you can definitely hear Maiden influences with the galloping riffs. If you are a fan of quality melodic metal, you can't miss this one. Purchase Nosferatu CD To buy, Click on price to add to cart | Steelheart CD (1991)
Nosferatu album
$6.49 Possessing metal pipes like few before him, leonine Steelheart yelper Michael Matijevic scarred the airwaves forever when he hammered the simply unmatchable chorus of the hairball "I'll Never Let You Go": ludicrous and sublime, akin to Whitney Houston hitting the hot spot in "I Will Always Love You." The opening strands of "Everybody Loves Eileen" bring Ratt out of the cellar before the cut curls into a pop n' fresh roller coaster ride. The remainders on this ridiculous dish are also overlong examples of excess but not as memorable, paying homage to Whitesnake and other flailing stylistic ventures. "I'll Never Let You Go" is available on some quality collections and no aficionado of poodle pomp should let that song go, otherwise leave Steelheart in peace with the music it helped lay to rest. ~ Doug Stone

Nosferatu album
$13.85 It's easy to belittle power metal bands because they often marry portentous musical ambitions with hackneyed Manowar-like posturing that only a 12-year-old could possibly buy into; Germany's Edguy, however, are clever enough to flip those tables by making it evident that they don't take themselves all that seriously. Eight albums into the ...

| | Stan Kenton Merry Christmas! CD (2003)
Nosferatu CD music
$9.39 When bandleader Stan Kenton was approached to record an album of holiday music in 1961 he agreed, on one condition -- no songs about singing snowmen or flying reindeer. The resulting album, A Merry Christmas, is a polyphonic masterpiece that is at once progressive and traditional. Included are such well-known classics as "O Tannenbaum" and "The Twelve Days of Christmas" as well as lesser known gems like "The Holly and the Ivy" and "Once in Royal David's City." Featuring Kenton's idiosyncratic style of arranging piercing trumpets over a wooly blanket of trombones and mellophones, this is beautiful, forward-thinking and angular music that addresses both complex classical harmony and Basie-style swing. Epitomizing this is the intricate and delicate harmonic dissonance on "O Come, All Ye Faithful," a must-hear for Kentonites. As a bonus, the album includes Kenton regular trumpeter Maynard Ferguson's stellar 1960 medley "Christmas for Moderns," which features the high-note master's hip takes on such other holiday nuggets as "White Christmas and "Jingle Bells." Fans should also get a kick out of Kenton's humorous 1963 spoken word piece "What Is Santa Claus?." ~ Matt Collar
Recorded at Capitol Studios, Goldwyn Sound Stage, Los Angeles, Caifornia and Capitol Studios, New York, New York between October 14, 1960 & April 11, 1963. Originally released on Capitol (1621).

| | In Flames Soundtrack To Your Escape CD (2004) Deluxe Edition

$13.85 Sweden's metal scene consistently breathes new life into a style that had long since hit a wall in many other territories. Among the most provocative and original of these acts is In Flames.
