Too $hort's name is synonymous with the West Coast O.G. sound he helped pioneer, and--with 16 albums to his credit--he's outlasted dozens of other artists throughout his legendarily lengthy career. On the mixtape PIMPIN' INC., Shortdog delivers a slew of chauvinistic punch-lines, demonstrating the secret of his staying power: keep it simple and stay on topic. As for lyrical content, there's nothing new here and that's the point. Every song is a testament to Too $hort's superior pimp-hand--and rap fans can't be mad at that. The all-star guest-list includes Jay-Z, Young Jeezy, 50 Cent, Mobb Deep, Lloyd Banks, Lil Jon, B.G., and Erick Sermon.
Personnel: Too $hort; Big Zack, The Bishop Of Crunk, Chyna Whyte, 50 Cent, Jay-Z, Jazze Pha, Kool Ace, Mobb Deep, Murda One, B.G., UGK, Shanelle.

Too Short: Pimpin' Incorporated I have to give it up for Too Short once more for putting together a tight mixtape. Too Short has been in the rap game for so long and he still manages to serve up the heat. Pimpin' Incorporated is not an official album but indeed a mixtape that will give fans something to bump until the new official album drops. This mixtape has some good guest spots from rap artists such as U.G.K., E-40, Erik Sermon, 50 Cent, The Game, Mobb Deep and even Jay-Z. Here some tracks to check for while listening to Pimpin' Incorproated - "Where's The Pimps At", "I'm Wit It", "Keep It Real Hoe",
"Six Figga Ni--as", "Buy You Some 2" and "About That Money". Too Short is on top of his lyrical game on this mixtape and the beats are bangin'. Too Short is the true pimp! Submitted by Paul (Andover, Mass. USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

Pimpin Incorporated album
$13.15 Enter the Jacka. The death of 2Pac in the mid 90's ripped the heart out of West Coast Hip Hop. At the same time a young street poet named the Jacka was honing his skills in the Bay Area Rap game. Always open minded, he was influenced by b-boys and thugs, pimps and Imams. The Jacka has since developed into an established, well-rounded, well-versed emcee in the right place to bring the West Coast some serious attention. The Jacka's music is a reflection of his life. He witnessed the birth of the dope game and the drug war that followed, as the battle was waged in his community, on his block, and in his house. Memories of departed loved ones haunt his mind and soul. His release is to share his experiences through his music. Reality hurts. Rap is the Jacka's medicine. That and some purple. Jacka's success proves his mettle as an emcee. He has been featured on over 50 albums over the past six years. His contributions to the Mob Figaz self-entitled album resulted in over 100,000 units sold. His tour with Yukmouth (of the Luniz), C-Bo, the Mob Figaz, and ...

Jay Dee and Pete Rock's extremely contrasting contributions to BBE's ambitious and rapidly unfolding beat-suite series has made it increasingly difficult to discern where the label's "true" musical vision lies. While Jay Dee's Welcome to Detroit was a more rhyme-orientated opus, Pete Rock's Petestrumentals was a distinctly jazzy, instrumental-based endeavor. will.i.am's "Lost Change" is a solid extension of this movement, as it cozily nestles itself in between these two releases, sprinkling in an equal assortment of both beats and rhymes. Though will has taken the instrumental-based series and put his own stamp on it, that stamp still contains occasional hues of Black Eyed Peas' (of which will is a member) organic stylings ("Ev Rebahdee" featuring Planet ...
