Faso Latido album for sale Product Description

Faso Latido album for sale by A Static Lullaby was released Apr 05, 2005 on the Columbia label. With the involvement of Sugar producer Lou Giordano and ex-Youth of Today/Gorilla Biscuits drummer Sammy Siegler, one might assume that FASO LATIDO is a raging slice of vintage hardcore or alternative rock. While the influences of these two genres abound in A Static Lullaby's style, this disc is much more closely allied with the post-hardcore/emo sound, mixing metallic guitar riffs with alternately crooned and screamed vocals. Faso Latido CD music contains a single disc with 13 songs.   ...See Full Description

My Chemical Romance grabs my attention-span!
Ever since the band named above gets mentioned, that's what I get the feeling listening to this band's first major-labelled CD come to play. I think this band is getting overlooked in some way. There are comparisons to Thursday but I don't see that on this CD. It's a step in the right direction but the marketing ploy seems to be flawed. Thank goodness for Fearless Records coming to the rescue! Let's hope they get record #3 right this time! They're sort of in an identity crisis right at the moment with this one. Sorry!

open your eyes
A Static Lullaby here has suffered the effects of switching to a "major" label. However, the fact that the band was able to redeem itself with their self-titled cd, released in late 2006, is well worth consideration. As the new cd provides an amazing succession of "And Don't Forget to Breathe...," "Faso Latido" can then be re-evaluated as a bridge of the band's artistic capabilities and hardships. "Faso Latido" gerenally has a more melancholic, relaxed rock sound, which songs like "Contagious" and "We Go to Eleven" coherently reflect upon. At first preview, the cd was a shock to much of the band's fanbase. It appeared to be an extreme shift from their first cd, but after carefully listening to it, fans can appreciate the talents of one of the first and best bands to master the art of screaming fused with melodic vocals and guitars. As much of a step backward as "Faso Latido" appears to be for A Static Lullaby, it provides the foundation and exploration needed to take the band to new levels. If you haven't checked out their self-titled album yet, I suggest you do so. You will not be dissapointed. And instead of reaching for your favorite break-up band Silverstein cd, acknowledge "Faso Latido"'s unique discovery of the talents of the boys of Chino Hills.
