| | Glen Gray And The Casa Loma Orchestra (1939) CD (1994)
Hajimeteno Kokyude CD music
$14.69 The first of two Circle LPs featuring the Casa Loma Orchestra on radio transcriptions has six ballad vocals by Kenny Sargent, three more light-hearted ones from Pee Wee Hunt and just three instrumentals, none of which are all that exciting. Although the musicianship of the group is obviously high, the lack of any jazz-oriented material makes this release ...
| | Uri Caine Solitaire CD (2002) (Import)
Hajimeteno Kokyude music CDs
$17.79 Solitaire, the first solo piano album by Uri Caine, is a tour de force. Recorded "with no processing" at Schloss Elmau in Germany, the disc was released in tandem with Bedrock and Rio (about as diverse a trilogy as can be imagined, and one that underscores the scope of Caine's visionary musicianship). The piano on Solitaire sounds fabulous, with the kind of pure, natural echo that truly evokes a concert hall experience. Caine starts out swinging with "Say It in French" and makes profoundly bluesy, boppish statements with ...

| | Bastard Child Run For Your Life CD (2009)
Hajimeteno Kokyude music CDs
$11.49 Run For Your Life was recorded at Suburbia Studios in Tacoma, WA, and is the first studio album from Bastard Child. This album is comprised of varied style and genres, mostly with punk/metal influences. Bastard Child was originally formed in November of 2007 by Sir Edmund Taint and Zebrana Bastard. After facing the reality that all the fun they were having with The Pleasure Elite was about to end(or so they thought), they joined forces and set out to find a combo of twisted individuals to join their sickening side show. Both having a love for performance art, a variety of musical backgrounds, and a taste for the obscure, they weren't exactly sure what they were looking for other than an outlet for the fuct up ramblings inside their heads. Not long after, Gingie Bastard joined up on guitar. The three worked together writing songs, practicing, and circle jerking to pass the time while trying to track down that ever elusive drummer. In July of 2008, The Sexual Tyrannosaurus of Sok and The Faggots joined in for a Jam Session, and by August of 2008, Honkey Bastard was jerking and stroking the rest of us regularly as alter boys in a confession box. In August of 2009, we replaced our orginal guitarist, Gingie Bastard, with Pygmy Bastard(Lead Guitar) and Unkown Bastard(Rythm Guitar). Gingie Bastard is the guitarist on this album.By September of 2009, our first album droped all your granny panties, and we've made our presence known in Washington (Bremerton, Seattle, Everette, our home slum of Tacoma), Oregon (Salem and Portland), and Sacramento, CA We've been described as "a different kind of uncomfortable", "kinda like a jazzed up version of The Mentors", "scum fucks" (although we really don't feel we've done GG proud ...
