best yet
this album is absolutely stunning. It's the best Avett Brothers release yet and everything comes together for a great sound. "Talk of Indolence" has a punkish quality and "The lowering" and "Famous Flower of Manhattan" are slow but packed with emotion.

A Fetching Collection of Songs
While not as playful as their previous cd, Mignonette, there is a lot of good stuff going on here. The brothers have really captured the impressive quality of their voices here more than on their previous releases.
