Rojino Ame music CDs
$10.45 It was not pure ego that led Buju Banton to title his 1993 album VOICE OF JAMAICA; his unique voice is a gruff, melodic instrument, and his lyrics are precise. He built his career on controversial hits and slacker anthems, but has since helped spearhead a movement to swing reggae's pendulum away from sex and violence, back towards conscious lyrics and Rastafarian themes. On `TIL SHILOH, the voice of Jamaica has visibly ...

$17.89 With help from musicians associated with the era and location (including Don Tosti, Lalo Guerrero, and Thee Midnighters' Little Willie G.) and studio musicians Jim Keltner, Jon Hassell, and legendary Tex-Mex accordionist Flaco Jimenez, Cooder has created a musical novel that richly celebrates the music, life, and lingering mythos of Chavez Ravine, an L.A. neighborhood razed by the city in the interest of big business (namely to build a stadium for the soon-to-be L.A. Dodgers). Stylistically, ...

Rojino Ame album
$14.15 Graham DeanThe Album "When Life Goes Blank" is a collection of 12 songs taken from lifes everyday happenings. The Good, the bad and the indifferent."The Land That I Was Born Apon" was inspired by the plight of scotsman Kenny Richie who has served 21 years in Ohio on death row for a crime he swears he did not commit. We are pleased to learn of his release on the 20th December 2007. (details can be found on the UPDATE page at www.grahamdeanmusic.com)But also a song with meaning for anyone who is away from home for whatever reason."Why" the question always asked when a love affair or relationship breaks up."Forget about Yesterday" time to move on and leave the past behind and so the album continues. The past to the present......After aspirations during his school days of being a professional cricket player Graham saw a band called The Beatles one evening on TV. This sparked an interest in music and he started to learn the guitar. After a short spell in local schoolboy bands graham joined forces with Ronnie Nelson, Alan Bentley and Jammy (Treble) Lowe to form a band in the early 70,s called Funny Feeling. This band toured the British Isles extensively and also performed a six-week season at the Burnham Court Hotel, Guernsey. When Funny Feeling disbanded in the mid 70,s Graham and Ronnie continued as a duo playing pubs, clubs and hotels in the local area. Work was good and as a duo called the Dean Brothers played over 300 gigs a year thro to the mid 1980,s.In 1984 illness forced Graham to retire from the music scene, but after recovery Graham meet and joined forces with Gary Sandywell and Steven McNichlas to form the band No Barriers. They initially played only self-penned material in many local venues with a recording deal in the offing. This unfortunately fell thro when once again illness struck a band member and the publishing companies involved decided to shelve the idea. The band at this point decided to learn a cover show and embarked on making a living touring. With successful auditions in Birmingham ...
| | Karisa Wilson Little Girl CD (2008)
Rojino Ame CD music
$16.45 From the time I was a small girl I would sing and pretend to play violin until I began studying at age 10. I never really thought about the fact that I was meant to be a musician until adulthood. I discovered my voice in high school when I tried out for my high school musical and got the lead! This, along with being accepted into a very competitive Youth Symphony, provided the foundation for becoming the performer I am today. After college,I started playing violin in bands but grew tired of how limited the violin was to the kind of music I was doing. I bought a guitar while in college but didn't really learn to play it until a couple of years after. ...

I don't need someone to buy me material things. I can buy them for myself. It's nice to get presents, but it's not a sign of love.My balance comes from my family.
