After Nick Lowe played bass on Dave Edmunds' previous release, SUBTLE AS A FLYING MALLET, Edmunds and Lowe started working together in earnest. Party cd
Nearly 30 years after it�s release it is just as good. Rock and roll at it�s best. This cd holds the same members as Rockpile, to me personally this is the best DE cd of them all.

get it album of the century
This album is the best ive heard by any artist. A Total classic. Great Musicianship. Great singing. Great songs. Perfect Production!

One of my fave R&R albums of all time
My reason for giving this CD only 3 stars is because of the relatively poor sound quality. The music is fantastic, but instead of using the British masters, Wounded Bird has used a poor copy.

"Get it" is RIGHT!
I first learned of Dave Edmunds when I purchased the Carl Perkins DVD "Blue suede shoes", the finest rock-a-billy concert I have ever seen, and it was produced by none other than Dave Edmunds, who also performed.
