So this is The Best of Fra Lippo Lippi, right? In fact, there are two important issues, both understandable, that may still annoy fans and curious minds. First is the absence of any tracks from the group's first two LPs, In Silence (1981) and Small Mercies (1983) -- then again, they were more Gothic rock than pop, and both albums have been reissued two-fer style by Rune Arkiv as The Early Years simultaneously with this CD. Jme is currently working on her first worship album, and her second pop/r&b/alternative album which is due out in late 2009. Music from Lay It Down has been heard in venues such as Thomas and Mack Center, Cox Pavillion, Station Casinos, military bases, Carnival Cruise lines, Roland Powell convention Ctr., numerous church congregations, youth and college groups, high schools, the Las Vegas Strip, and a number of outside special events and major festivals. Jme has also been among the few chosen artists to share her ministry on the Christian Cruise line with Carnival along with other nationally established artists such as: The Katinas, Natalie Grant, Zoe girl, George Rowe, Kristy Starling, Tammy Trent, Russ Lee, Kara Williamson. Although Jme is a newer artist to emerge onto the scene, she has become the newly featured released artist on SOS Christian Radio network (which serves over 12 different statesincluding her hometown of Las Vegas, NV), certain secular stations, and overseas her music can be heard in countries such as Australia, New Zealand and Canada.
