Alan Jackson does an exceptional job of singing some of the older, beloeved hymns. It is inspirational and comforting to listen to. The arrangements on all the songs are soothing - not overdone, just pleasing to hear. I highly recommend this album to anyone who likes gospel music or older, traditional hymns. I plan on purchasing it for gifts to several of my friends.
