MAKE WAY was recorded in November, 1960 and released in January, 1961. GOIN' PLACES was recorded at Capitol's Studio B, Los Angeles in January, 1961 and released in June, 1961. Includes liner notes. These are the final two albums of the Kingston Trio in its original lineup. While a modern-day listener may find folk music somewhat simple in content and approach, these factors were exactly what made the music so appealing in the late '50s and early '60s. No more than a guitar and a voice were needed to set forth ballads of love and murder.
