2006 studio album from the former vocalist with recent Rock 'N' Roll Hall of Fame inductees The Ronettes. She sang the lead vocals on Brian Wilson's favorite song ever (''Be My Baby''), she endured a tempestuous marriage to one of the greatest producers (and eccentrics) in pop music, and her voice, whilst maybe not the finest there is, has enough character for many to claim her as their favorite pop vocalist. She has inspired not just musicians of the '60s, but also key bands of the '70s such as Blondie, The Ramones and Patti Smith. To prove her legendary status, this record is crammed full of amazing guest stars, many of whom have showed a big influence of her in their own work: Keith Richards, Patti Smith, Nick Zinner (of The Yeah Yeah Yeah's), the late Joey Ramone (on a great cover of the Johnny Thunders classic `You Can't Put Your Arms Around A Memory'), The Raveonettes and The Greenhornes. 11 tracks. Last Of The Rock Stars CD music
$18.79 This CD contains B.B. King's first ABC-Paramount studio efforts -- Mr. Blues (1962) and Confessin' the Blues (1965), respectively. While there are inevitable similarities between the projects, offering them back-to-back allows listeners an acute sense of King's rapid maturation and development during what was by all accounts the nexus of the guitarist/vocalist's career. The dozen-song Mr. Blues was a haphazard start for King with the contents taken from three different recording sessions in a 13-month period (March 1, 1962 through April ...

$16.45 We, The bALLY who?, are proud to present a conglomeration of ripples of ideas. We are proud to present a convergence of those ideas so that they build the kind of tidal wave worth riding. Striving to celebrate a holy matrimony of art forms - music, film, theatre, art, puppetry, and frolic. We are in search of nothing less than the first rung of a ladder taking us to a new summit, the first knot of a lasso helping us to reel in the moon, the stars, and all things seemingly unattainable, wildest dreams included. Wildest Dreams - ...
