(3 Customer Reviews)
The DVD features the Chicago blues legend at his psine-tingling best. For his first appearance at the Montreux Festival in 1986, Rush is joined on stage by fellow blues stars Eric Clapton and Luther Allison for a truly special show. Though he was born in the Mississippi delta, guitarist Otis Rush was most at home in the 1950s Chicago blues scene, where his deep, rich sound made him not only one of the premier players of his time, but a key influence on later British blues-rockers like Eric Clapton, Peter Green, and John Mayall. Rush honors both traditions with this concert recorded at the prestigious Montreux Jazz Festival in 1986, performing with his fellow Chicago bluesman Luther Allison and their mutual protégé Clapton for a stellar evening of red-hot electric blues.

Otis Rush - Otis Rush & Friends Live At Montreux 1986 review
$7.15 Aaron Eckhart and Helena Bonham Carter give dazzling performances in Hans Canosa's CONVERSATIONS WITH OTHER WOMEN. Playing unnamed characters, Eckhart and Bonham Carter meet up at a New York City wedding and start flirting in a back room. Slowly it becomes evident that they have some kind of past together. As they consider spending the night in her hotel room -- and how that will affect their current lives -- secrets are revealed and futures are put in jeopardy. CONVERSATIONS is primarily a two-character drama, an acting tour de force for Eckhart (ERIN BROCKOVICH, THANK YOU FOR NOT SMOKING) and Bonham Carter (A ROOM WITH A VIEW, THE WINGS OF A DOVE). Director Canosa (ALMA MATER) shot the film in dual frame, shooting every scene with two cameras in order to capture different emotions and angles, and then projects them in split screen. Thus, the two frames sometimes show the same action from differing perspectives, ...
