Bar Flys Stomp/Masquerade songs
$47.29 This is the U.S. debut album by Japanese super-pop teen duo Puffy AmiYumi.
Despite being huge stars in their native Japan and releasing three brilliant albums in the U.S., Puffy AmiYumi have never made much of a splash with record buyers. The band may finally change that with the release of Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi Music from the Series. After performing the theme for the Cartoon Network show Teen Titans, Puffy and the network decided to create their own animated series revolving around the band. | | Marlee Ready Or Not CD (2004)
Bar Flys Stomp/Masquerade CD music
$18.99 Marlee was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Since the age of three, she has been singing and playing the piano. She grew up in her parents' music studio where customers took lessons and also where her father taught her how to play. Marlee performed in various recitals and also competed in piano competitions sponsored by St. Cecilia's Music Society. By the time she was 12, Marlee had gone to the state finals twice and won first place in her division for the state of Michigan. She also had experience singing in different school and church choirs and by the age 13, Marlee had picked up the guitar and taught herself how to play. She also started to stray from the classical music that she was brought up on and began dabbling in the craft of songwriting. By age 16, she had established a band and played at a few coffeehouses and a summer festival. The band broke up a year later when Marlee left and went away to college. It was after a semester of Pre-Pharmacy that she decided music wasn't just a hobby, it was her calling in life, and she changed her major to Music Industry Management, a program that was new to Ferris State University. Marlee then began to start playing out as a solo act. She also became involved in the Music Industry Management Association and eventually was elected External Secretary for the last two consecutive years of her college career. She was able to network with a great deal of contacts during that time, attended two N.A.M.M. conventions in California and landed an internship in New York with Korg USA. She played a few shows in New York at a couple coffeehouses. After the internship, Marlee returned to Michigan and attempted the band scene again with some friends who were also musicians. This effort only lasted a semester as it was soon realized that the band members were on different levels musically, personally and professionally. Marlee was able to record her first solo six-track album during October 2000. She decided to concentrate her efforts on completing her schooling, and she made the Dean's list both semesters of her senior year and graduated in May 2002. She then went on ...
| | Adam Fallon Slightly Used CD (2006)
Bar Flys Stomp/Masquerade music CDs
$13.69 It’s dusk, it’s cool, and the stadium lights are on. About 50,000 concert-goers are singing a song back to Adam Fallon, the headline act. This is Fallon’s ultimate musical goal. Based on the rapid growth of his audience throughout North America and his new EP, Slightly Used, hitting the market in 2006, he could achieve it very soon. From his base in Chicago, Fallon is building a following throughout the Midwest, Ontario and across the continent. Audiences are opening up to his style: his own unique take on the tradition of singer/songwriter, but with an intangible quality that makes listener feel that, deep down, he knows what they are feeling. Fallon moves effortlessly from ballads to upbeat pop to full-out rock. The 26-year-old Canadian singer and songwriter has been, at various times, a performer, producer, promoter, and roadie. Fallon is something of a local legend around Belleville, Ontario, where he pulled up to an A&W --former band Pickseed aboard a flatbed truck-and drew 300 people for an impromptu concert. It may be his knack for producing and promoting that keeps him so connected to what his fans expect. “The typical person at my show tends to be laid back, casual and looking for good live entertainment,” Fallon says. “They just want to close their eyes, listen to the story, and be carried away.”He’s been there himself: Fallon learned at an early age that music could take him away from problems at home and school. He started with clarinet at age 12; and really developed a deep appreciation for music at age 14, when he got his first drum set. “I’d ...
