| | Edwin Mccain Lost In America CD Edwin Mccain Discography of CDs
Singer-songwriter Edwin McCain's 2006 LOST IN AMERICA is a combination of old-school, big-gesture rock & roll and grainy Americana. The opener is a sardonic "Gramercy Park Hotel," while "The Kiss" is a radio-friendly love song, and "Babylon" is a sexy, riff-heavy, down-and-dirty salute to the artist's dark side, complete with over-the-top guitar solo. The title track would be at home on a John Cougar Mellencamp album, but it's no less catchy for that, and demonstrates that McCain has his heart and soul in the right place, in addition to accomplished songwriting skills.

Lost In America album
$8.85 This is a Hyper CD, which contains both regular audio tracks and also provides a link to the artist's website with the help of a web browser.
Cognizant of the fact that adult contemporary folk-rock wasn't getting a fair shake on the major-label level, Sister Hazel opted out of its deal in order to self-release CHASING DAYLIGHT, the band's first studio effort since 2000's FORTRESS. Clinging to a straightforward rock sound that draws from the same well of inspiration as Hootie & The Blowfish and Counting Crows, this Floridian quintet has continued writing songs steeped in the intricacies of love and relationships. Frontman Ken Block has a particular knack for ruminating over heartbreak, loss, and devotion via the self-penned soaring desperation of "Your Mistake" and anthemic "Sword and Shield."
These Gainesville rockers also hooked up with a number of famous songwriting collaborators including '80s ...

The best we could do is accelerate the communication process by mass producing these two formats which are very similar and at times more advanced. | | Chelsea Faster, Cheaper & Better Looking CD (2005) Digipak
Lost In America CD music
$11.95 One of the original U.K. punk rock bands returns in an energetic 2005-recorded set that features original front man Gene October backed by an all-star lineup. The set includes a forceful version of the Alarm's "45 RPM," and the band's powerful buzzsaw guitar renderings of contemporary social commentary like "Sod the War" and "Ritalin Kid" can still conjure a Ramones-like sonic ferocity.
Once more into the breach, dear friends. The continuing saga of Chelsea has rarely failed to throw up at least a handful of invigorating surprises, and Faster Cheaper and Better Looking, the band's first studio release since their 1999 reunion, maintains that tradition. Indeed, with three members of the "classic," late-'70s lineup still onboard (Gene October, James Stevenson, and Chris Bashford, joined by latter-day Buzzcocks bassist Tony Barber), the band has arguably erased the memory of the chaos that reigned through the '80s and '90s and finally delivered the follow-up to Alternative Hits -- not at all coincidentally the last album to feature the same trio. A dozen songs strong, Faster Cheaper and Better Looking opens with the one-two punch of "Living in the Urban UK" and "Sod the War," disaffected war cries that prove the Chelsea pen remains as sharp as it ever was -- Chelsea's greatest asset in the early days was its frontman's ability not simply to identify with his ...
