This is the heaviest of the 3 Iron Fire albums and Martin Steen, lead vocalist and well, leader, having been ticked off with the biz and subsequent 5 year delay in delivering this fab opus to the masses, has vented his anger in exquisite riff writing and improved vocals (more range, more convincing, less inflection & added aggression). "Revenge" marks a return to the gothic dungeons & dragons melodic power metal of their debut, "Thunderstorm" yet carries with it an added "oomph" to the proceedings. All in all, it is great to have Iron Fire back in the hunt and on the prowl though my only complaint is that some of the lyrics stray onto "hokey avenue" (songs about aliens, distant fictitious planets etc do become tedious and hard to take after a while). However, all in all, Iron Fire has risen again and with a distinct attitude definitely in tow. Well worth the price of admission.
