Standard Screen; Soundtrack English Brenda Andersen (Barbara Eden from TV's "I Dream of Jeannie") is an overprotective mom whose son has joined the airforce against her wishes. By accident she winds up joining up herself, and joining him on his training period, of course embarrassing him, but in the end they come to an understanding. It's a lighthearted comedy with some fine comedic acting. Your Mother Wears Combat Boots Your Mother Wears Combat Boots Movie Review Your Mother Wears Combat Boots DVD Full Frame - 1.33

$32.69 Created by Donald Bellisario (JAG, MAGNUM P.I.), AIRWOLF was among the many action-adventure shows of the 1980s that garnered a cult following. Jan-Michael Vincent stars as the improbably named Stringfellow Hawke, a Vietnam veteran still troubled by the disappearance of his brother during the war. Secret government agent "Archangel" (Alex Cord) approaches Hawke with a unique offer: to help him recover and then become the de facto pilot of the powerful, top-secret helicopter known as Airwolf. With that proposal the series begins chronicling Hawke's adventures, along with his sidekick Dominic (Ernest Borgnine) as pilot of the advanced aircraft. SEASON ONE contains all 12 episodes from ...

$15.59 This hilarious sitcom features standup comedian Bernie Mac playing a fictional version of himself. Mac is a successful comedian living the high life in Los Angeles, but trouble arises when his sister is sent to rehab in Chicago and he takes over the parental duties of her three adolescent children. Although charming, the mere presence of Vanessa, Jordan, and Bryana is enough to put Bernie through the wringer on a daily basis. THE BERNIE MAC show is an inventive sitcom that allows Mac to exploit his comic skills to the fullest. Contains all twenty-two episodes from the Emmy-winning first season.

| | Ellie Parker DVD (2005)
Your Mother Wears Combat Boots movie DVD
$16.79 Shot on digital video over a period of five years, ELLIE PARKER takes an unfiltered look at the Hollywood people rarely see. An insider's story in many ways, the film should appeal to actors and film-industry people for the way it pokes fun at the entertainment profession. Naomi Watts (MULLHOLLAND DRIVE, 21 GRAMS) throws herself fully into the role of Ellie Parker, an eager young Australian actress trying to break into Hollywood. Often transparent and rarely likeable, Ellie is an all too-realistic example of many striving actors. Changing clothes, applying makeup, and experimenting with various dialects in her car while on the way from one audition to the next, Ellie eagerly transforms herself at a moment's notice for the chance of getting a role. When Ellie finds out that her loser boyfriend (Mark Pellegrino) is cheating on her, she seeks solace in her best friend and fellow actress, Sam (Rebecca Rigg), and an equally hapless new love interest, Chris (Scott Coffey). Through chaotic and unrewarding auditions, hilarious acting exercises, therapy sessions, and messy one-night-stands, Ellie makes misguided but funny attempts to find herself in as dramatic a way as possible. While viewers might like to think of this perversely self-conscious, self-consumed, and shallow character as an anomaly, the film suggests that people like her are, unfortunately, a dime a dozen in Los Angeles. While meant to be funny throughout, ELLIE PARKER is also sad in that Ellie's real life feels even less genuine than her acting. ...
