| Getting better with time
This cd is classic Teena Marie. Her voice never changes(thank goodness)and this cd is far better than her last effort. She can write songs better than all the new artists today. I highly recommend it.

| Sapphire is a Diamond
Textured, layered, beautifully arranged, Sapphire is another classic from our Lady to the T. She's frisky, sexy, serious, and she sounds better than ever. When she said 2 years ago she was just getting started, she was not kidding. You sense the maturity in her assured delivery. But as always, the hooks keep coming. I can't stop listening.

| I totaly love Sapphire!
Teena has outdone herself! She's got it all on Sapphire. Up to date with Hip-Hop and Old School flavors and not without the romantic ballad she's best known for. Sapphire!!

| Lady T sparkles!!!
This CD is incredible!!!! First of all, it seems that time has saved her voice from aging. Secondly, this is a solid and fabulous effort from top to bottom. Personally, I think it is better than "La Dona" and far more soulful....it reminds me of her early days but it is not "retro". Every song contains references to Rick but not blatently, they are soft and reminiscent. I usually like to offer what i feel are the "highlights" on any given CD but in this case i would be listing 99% of the tracks!!! All I can say is my favorite is definately "The Way You Love Me"....it has been stuck in my head for days on end! This collection is very important for you to own whether you are a Lady Tee fan or not.

Still exciting after all these years. Starts off with a couple great songs with Smokey Robinson and then a couple of great upbeats songs that will keep you dancing all summer. The old school sound of Ooo Wee and some great ballads too. You blow me away sounds like something she could have done 25 years ago. Others favourites are Romatica, A.P.B. and the wonderful Resilent sung with her daughter.
