| | Wishbone Ash Clan Destiny CD - Import Wishbone Ash Discography of CDs
Formed in October 1969, the band garnered notice in the early days for a unique blend of blues, jazz and English folk. But it was the way the guitars played melodic leads together that would become Wishbone Ash’s trademark, inspiring such bands as Thin Lizzy and Iron Maiden. Throughout the years, many notable musicians have contributed their talents to the band, including Asia’s John Wetton, Trevor Bolder from Uriah Heep and Laurie Wisefield, who would later play guitar for Joe Cocker and Tina Turner. $7.55 This is the first of Irish guitar virtuoso Gary Moore's true heavy metal albums. Boasting a crisp, aggressive sound, Corridors of Power kicks off with the foot-stomping "Don't Take Me for a Loser," delivers the token power ballad in "Always Gonna Love You," and floors ...
| | Gary Moore Victims Of The Future CD (1983) (Import) England; United Kingdom
Clan Destiny songs
$14.45 VICTIMS OF THE FUTURE is a 1983 release by British hard rock guitarist Gary Moore, featuring "Teenage Idol" and "Empty Rooms."
Gary Moore might just be the greatest guitar hero America's never heard of, probably because only his recent blues recordings have benefited from proper distribution stateside. In fact, Moore has worn so many hats during his near 30-year career that the words eclectic and unfocused immediately come to mind. Victims of the Future arrived in the middle of the most consistent phase of his career -- that of a heavy metal guitar slinger. Between the epic cold war-inspired title track and the massive riffing of "Murder in the Skies" (written about the Korean airliner shot own by Russian fighter jets), Moore assaults ...
| | Tony Iommi Dep Sessions '96 CD (2004) Remastered
Clan Destiny album
$12.45 Two full decades after the release of 1986's underestimated Seventh Star album, Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi and journeyman vocalist/bassist Glenn Hughes (Trapeze, Deep Purple, etc.) decided the time had come for them to work together once again. Ensconcing themselves in Birmingham's DEP Studios, the duo composed and recorded eight tracks for release, but when Iommi was suddenly called into action with a re-formed and regularly touring original Sabbath, the work in progress was abandoned, filed away, and then, naturally, quickly bootlegged under the imaginative title of Eighth Star. Thus the tracks would remain for eight full years, until Iommi and Hughes finally reconvened to tidy them up with the help of keyboardists Don Airey and Geoff ...

Clan Destiny songs
$12.39 The Church's 1996 album, MAGICIAN AMONG THE SPIRITS, marked the return of original guitarist Peter Koppes, who had left the band four years earlier. This album was originally released on the band's own record label and then reissued in 1999, under the title MAGICIAN AMONG THE SPIRITS AND THEN SOME, with an altered track list. "Ritz," an ethereal, mostly acoustic cover of a Steve Harvey song, was replaced by four originals, "Man," "Won't Let You Sleep," "Sads," and "Why Don't You Love Me."
Standouts include "Comedown," a lively track complete with Marty Willson-Piper's trademark ringing guitars, "Grandiose," a soaring ...
| | Congo To Cuba CD (2002)
Clan Destiny album
$10.89 The rhythms originated in West Africa and originally traveled to Cuba on the slave ships. Since then the music has gone back and forth across the Atlantic countless times, changing slightly on each occasion. This well-composed compilation shows how much Africa and Cuba have in common, kicking off with a smoking "Val Carretero" from Cuba's Chico Alvarez, before moving to Guinea for Mama Sissoko's "Safiatou," where guitar, rather than horns, takes the instrumental lead. And while the emphasis here is more on Africa than Cuba, that's fine; the music is glorious, most especially the winning voice of Mama ...

$15.95 Stanley & Grimm is a celebration of traditional music through old and new interpretations of jigs, reels, and songs played with lively fiddle, guitar and voice. Fiddler Nicole Engstrom and Singer/Guitarist Sean Brennan create a musical journey through a bounty of fiddle tunes and ballads of all origins as well as modern tunes and songs they have composed.Nikki has delighted audiences for over two decades with her spirited and sensitive playing. Through a broad range of fiddle music from old and new sets of jigs and reels to slow airs, with Sean's warm vocals and rhythmic guitar, Stanley & Grimm capture the essence and energy of great traditional music.Nikki and Sean have followed up their debut CD with ANOTHER ROUNDa new collection of tunes and songs that is already a huge hit with their fans. It features a mix of old and new material they have been featuring in concert at festivals and pubs throughout New England.Awarded Album of the Year 2008 by Celtic RadioCeltic Radio Review:"Guitarist & Singer Sean Brennan, and Fiddler Nikki Engstrom, have created something very special with their latest CD "Another Round." This New England duo plays a mix of old and new tunes that is a delight to the ears and addicting to the feet (especial those that dance). We at Celtic Radio carefully listened to each and every track on this CD and we have come to the conclusion that perfection has been made! Every musical measure is a beautiful display of just how much these folks love to play. Some of our favorite tracks include Pachabel's Frolics - a fast, toe tapping journey into fiddle and guitar euphoria mixed every so often with a few slower classical measures - just exhilarating! Fiddler's Green is sung by Sean's strong and warm vocals showing that this group is not just about Jigs & Reels, but has the depth and talent to shine with many different types of Celtic music. Mike Ryan's Lament, one of our favorites, is a post Civil War song about the legendary 7th Calvary and Custer's defeat at the Battle of the Little Bighorn. Sean brings this song to life about the tragic tale of two brothers who left Ireland for the idea of America, only to meet their end at Vicksburg ...
