Widescreen; Soundtrack English; English Subtitles; Spanish Subtitles; Dolby Digital 5.1 Re; Blue Ray HD-DVD A stellar cast collides haphazardly in this insightfully written roundelay of racism, rage, and redemption which takes place over the course of one day in LA and involves a circus of cops, robbers, and civilians. A detective (Don Cheadle) with a heroin addict mother and criminal brother investigates the shooting of a black cop by a white one. Two hoodlums (Larenz Tate and Ludacris) jack the car of the District Attorney (Brendon Fraser) and his angry, racist wife (Sandra Bullock). Terrence Howard and Thandie Newton play an upper-class African American couple harassed by a racist cop (Matt Dillon). And the chaos continues, with other roles played by Tony Danza, Michael Pena, and Jennifer Esposito. A propulsive Mark Isham score keeps the disparate narrative threads electrified from the get-go; when they finally connect, the results are explosive and beautiful. Everything is tied together with tight editing and artistic shots of car headlights cutting through dense morning smog. Writer-director Paul Haggis' (writer of MILLION DOLLAR BABY) Los Angeles is a world of alienated people struggling to connect across vast barriers of language, class, and culture; that they manage to do so is testament to their depth as characters more than some trite message of brotherly love. There are no easy answers, but this film is tough, intelligent, and gutsy enough to find some anyway; and for that it's a winner. Crash Reviews: "Mr. Haggis's evident sincerity and intelligence are reflected in the conviction of the cast..."-- A. O. Scott, New York Times "The acting is dynamite, notably by Dillon and Newton....The film is a knockout."
-- Peter Travers, Rolling Stone "The stunning, must-see drama CRASH is proof that words have not lost the ability to shock in our anesthetized society."
-- Lisa Schwarzbaum, Entertainment Weekly "The dialogue and scenarios are sometimes inspired....[With] intricate construction and intelligent, if melancholy, exploration of race and class warfare."-- Claudia Puig, USA Today "As the interweaving plotlines throw unsympathetic characters together...the script makes many brave, original points about cultural clichés."
-- Chris Roberts, Uncut Ranked #15 in Uncut's Best Films Of 2005 -- "Haggis tackles this thorny subject matter with courage, wit and insight, unafraid to ask the tough questions."
-- Uncut Staff, Uncut Included in Entertainment Weekly's Top Ten Films Of The Year -- "Paul Haggis has found an inspired metaphor with which to explore a modern-day L.A. snarl of race, class, and culture."
-- Lisa Schwarzbaum, Entertainment Weekly Ranked #11 in Rolling Stone's "Top 25 DVDs Of 2005' -- "[T]he rage sticks, as do the emotions underlying it."
-- Peter Travers, Rolling Stone 5 stars out of 5 -- "A superb interlinking ensemble drama..."-- Natalie Braine, Ultimate DVD Crash | List Price | $24.99 (You save $4.80) | | Studio | Lions Gate Home Entertainment | | Orig Year | 2005 | | All Time Sales Rank | 45238 | | CD Universe Part number | 7054187 | | Catalog number | 19523 | | Discs | 1 | | Release Date | Jun 27, 2006 | | Rating | Unrated | | Running Time | 115 Minutes | | Additional Info | Widescreen; Subtitled | | Movie Details | Color; Widescreen; Subtitled; Unrated Edition |

HOW COULD PEOPLE LIKE THIS CR!P!!! The hole movie was racist, and boring,I finished it but I felt like I was getting a root canal during the process.I mean it was painful to watch, and the sad part is people act like this movie's good. What's good about it.If it's the thought provoking ending it really wasn't worth the torture to get to it,and it was hardly thought provoking... One for the Ages Crash restored good movies, it was an artistic film, that was well directed by director Paul Haggis, and really created a deliberate debate with your own mind about morales, principals, and reality, the inner-twineing of each individuals lives was fantastic, and every actor brought there A-game in this film, as Matt Dillion was phenomenal and got nominated for best-supporting-actor, as well the cast together developed such a great movie that it won best picture, and was nominated for best director (Paul Haggis), Crash is going to be one of those films that will have history on its excellence when it comes to any variety or sort of discussion involving movies. $16.29 In SAW, a huge horror hit in 2004, a masked man called Jigsaw orchestrated the kidnapping of two people, chained them in a disgusting bathroom in an abandoned warehouse, and played vicious, brutal mind games with them that potentially could lead to their freedom. Jigsaw is back for more gory fun in SAW II, but this time he comes out from behind the mask to terrorize a troubled cop face-to-face. Tobin Bell reprises his brief role as Jigsaw in the first film with a major starring turn in the sequel. Dying of cancer, Jigsaw lets himself get caught, only to show Detective Eric Matthews (Donnie Wahlberg) that his son, Daniel (Erik Knudsen), has been taken hostage with seven other people, all of whom have been placed in a house of horrors with only the slimmest chance of escaping with their lives. Jigsaw promises Matthews that Daniel will live only if the cop follows the rules of the game, but time is running out, as the captives' bodies have been poisoned with a toxin that ...

$23.95 The events of September 11 left an indelible mark on most Americans, and certainly on those in the New York City area. Yet as fresh as the images seem, it's easy to forget the actual grit, sacrifice, and uncertainty of that day. Director Oliver Stone captures the essence of 9/11 by focusing on the true story of two Port Authority Police Department officers who were trapped beneath the wreckage of the fallen World Trade Center.
Veteran officer Sergeant John McLoughlin (Nicholas Cage) and his team, including rookie Will Jimeno (Michael Pena) are gathering equipment to enter the burning Twin Towers when the concourse comes crashing down around them. Twenty feet below the surface, pinned by debris and unable to reach anyone by radio, the officers must rely on their own will--and on each other--to survive. Above ground, their families watch ...
