This first and likely only DVD release from the one-of-a-kind, influential Faith No More is comprised of two long forms previously available only as VHS releases. Both are combined into a 2-disc pacage with 5.1 Surround Sound. "Live at Brixton" was filmed at the peak of their career in 1990 and captures the band for the true fan. "Who Cares a Lot? The Greatest Videos" features 17 music videos, many of them memorable MTV staples, spanning Faith No More's entire career. Led by the colorful Mike Patton, alternative metal band Faith No More enjoyed international success without watering down their bizarre blend of thrash guitar, wailing vocals, and plaintive piano. This special release contains two separate video releases from the band.
LIVE AT THE BRIXTON ACADEMY was filmed on April 28, 1990 at that famous South London venue. Among the eleven tracks performed are "From Out of Nowhere," "Falling to Pieces," "The Real Thing," "Underwater Lover," and "As the Worm Turns."
WHO CARES A LOT? contains 16 of the band's music videos and runs for two full hours. The release serves as a comprehensive greatest-hits collection from one of the most original bands of the late 1980s/early 1990s. I'm so glad they finally released this in dvd format,i was afraid i'd have to purchase the Live At Brixton Academy on video,i already owned Who Cares Alot on video and who wants to sit there and fast forward and rewind just to get to certain videos.Definitly buy this,so you can finally replace those horrible vhs copies.

Mike's voice it's amazing & the sound of a band was great!

Having seen FNM 5 times live I can say I have a bias view of them. But they are an all time great. The video is an al time great.
I still remember the day i shed a tear when they disbanded.
It's a shame there isn't more of FNM available on DVD. I am sure someone, somewhere has more video footage of FNM live.

It’s a shame a great band never got a great marketing, visual, choreography, studio, effects, image managers… it’s clearly why they never were on top hits and why they were unknown for many…. Any way my opinion is: the concert stinks, Mike performance sucks, the videos are a piece of S.hit, I mean sometimes seems like a poor imitation of Guns n’ Roses, sometimes seems like a mediocre imitation of the current Vanilla Ice….. Come on… The music express more than those videos, really those videos are a piece of trash, sometimes trying to express a band image, but they never got it and jump between all.. shorts, sports, duckers, tailcoat, pants, trousers, etc.. without any needing to offend they never got a great image like Korn, Depeche Mode, Guns n’, Metallica… in music they were a lot of steps ahead but in image they were a lot steps behind.

An album literally years in the making, PEEPING TOM is the brainchild of the amazingly prolific and adventurous vocalist Mike Patton, former frontman of the alternative-rock ensemble Faith No More. Following his departure from FNM in the late 1990s, Patton immersed himself in a variety of noise/metal projects including Fantomas and Tomahawk, as well as avant-garde solo outings, tinkering with more accessible pop/rock tunes in his free time. This 11-track disc is the result of those on-and-off sessions, and features collaborations with an impressive array of pop, hip-hop, and electronica luminaries, ranging from Rahzel and Dan the Automator (the funky first single "Mojo") to Massive Attack (the sinister "Kill the DJ") to, surprisingly enough, Norah Jones (the slinky, sensual "Sucker"). Despite all of the high-profile guests, PEEPING TOM is indisputably Patton's own creation, with his versatile vocals and quirky, off-kilter sensibilities exhibited on every track of this bizarrely entertaining outing.
