En prime, des featurings de ouf, avec notamment l'étoile montante Akon, ou encore Mac Tyer, que les puristes du rap français ne peuvent s'empêcher d'écouter !!

Kelly busied himself with guest spots for Beyonce, T-Pain, and Kanye West, even offering a free download on iTunes, "I Believe," inspired by the election of president Barack Obama. While such moves insured that Kelly would never stray far from the R&B throne he's occupied for more than a decade, his 2009 reboot of 12 PLAY, UNTITLED, should provide more than enough reason for fans to keep coming back for more. The "free" in the title to Joss Stone's fourth album apparently refers to the neo-singer breaking free from the shackles of her major label, EMI, who apparently have not let Joss be Joss. That this constricting argument happens to be the exact same story line Stone used for 2007's Introducing Joss Stone, the splashy diva power trip meant to unveil the "real" singer, is conveniently forgotten, as is the modern R&B of that makeover, with Joss returning to all the retro-soul of her first two records. The one lingering element of Introducing is a propensity for melisma-laden oversinging, a tic that stands out in the warmer, funkier settings of Colour Me Free! It is Original, feel-good music that will make you laugh, cry and remember the days. Shorty and Slim have been working hard this past year to release this new CD - their 4th in the Shorty and Slim Cult Classic Series. The logistics of recording a CD while one lives in Panama and the other in Germany were tough. David spent the better part of a year writing during the dark days of the German winter and thanks to modern technology, he was able to email tracks to Alex. Alex did the leg work of setting up studio time and getting things ready so that we were able to record all of Dave's tracks (including some vocals and flute by the Seitz girls!) during our wonderful month in Panama last summer. We had a blast and the band was able to play a gig to a full house of dancing Pana-Zonians to showcase some of their new songs.Going Down to Panama brings out a new sound and flavor of Shorty&Slim music, as live musicians were used as much as possible.
