| | Isaac Hayes Live At The Sahara Tahoe CDs (1973)
Com'E' Straordinaria La Vita music CDs
$9.59 Recorded live at the Sahara Tahoe, with some re-recording done at Stax Records. Originally released on Enterprise (2-5005). Includes liner notes by Leonard Feather.
Digital mastering by George Horn (1989, Fantasy Studios, Berkeley).
You could expect Isaac Hayes to be in his element at a resort venue -- lounge soul was his forte, and this double album offers almost two hours of it. Hayes demonstrates his versatility by getting "Shaft" out of the way right off the bat and alternating between originals and covers of a wide range of tunes, including "Light My Fire," "Never Can Say Goodbye," "Rock Me Baby," "Stormy Monday Blues," "Feelin' Alright," and "It's Too Late" (yes, the Carole King song). Often these are linked together, of course, by Hayes' brotherly raps; for Bill Withers' "Ain't No Sunshine," he tests the limits, stretching the tune just past the ten-minute mark. ~ Richie Unterberger

| | Christine Marie The Way Of The World Single CD (2006)
Com'E' Straordinaria La Vita songs
$10.15 Christine Marie Berkowitz grew up in the quaint village of Nyack, N.Y. where she enjoyed an active childhood. She wrote and performed her first song while in kindergarten and fell madly in love with performing. She has since devoted her life to understanding the human condition through study of self, wellness, nutrition and free open expression as a dancer, singer, actor, and writer.Christine Marie has always been a fierce competitor. At the age of 9 she enrolled in gymnastics training, and by the age of 11 she was competing as a member of the elite gymnastic team at her school, for which she won numerous metals and ribbons. The award she remembers most vividly was rewarded for "best competitive spirit". While in middle school Christine enrolled in the church choir where she learned to sing as part of an ensemble. Christine Marie brings this same drive and desire for personal excellence to her creative endeavors and to the guidance and development of her entertainment company, O.V. Enterprises, Inc. In 1989 she enrolled in the prestigious Drama Studies program at SUNY Purchase Performing Arts College. At SUNY Purchase, she produced her first full-length show called Taking Myself Seriously . This show was created through an in depth look at her own personal growth and her interpersonal interactions with the people in her life. It was here at SUNY Purchase that she learned the connection between personal growth and interactive self - expression. The show was a smashing success and foreshadowed the inspiration and healing potential she had as a writer, performer and producer. After college, Christine Marie went to New York City to further her training. To this end, she enrolled at the Phil Gussee Studio with renowned acting coach Joanna Beckson, (acting coaching to Ray Romono Everybody Loves Raymond) where she immersed herself in intensive Meisner based training for 2 years. Never satisfied with theoretical undertakings, during this period of study she was one of seven actors that founded The Hypothetical Theatre Company as a forum to write act, and produce in a professional, New York City setting. As one of the principle founders, she was instrumental to the production of over 5 plays including the critically acclaimed Eight for Eight , a series of short plays from the Louisiana ...

Com'E' Straordinaria La Vita album
$7.89 'Maniac' is the first single from frantic pop-punksters 'Reemer', taken from their upcoming album, due out in October. The band, who take their name from a character in Matt Stone and Trey Parker's film, 'Baseketball', have been together for 3 years and already have a legion of fans in the North West, regularly selling out venues across Manchester and the surrounding area, to the extent that a recent gig at 'Sonic Boom' was oversold by more than 200 tickets resulting in a stage invasion during which the crowd kidnapped the bassist! The single perfectly showcases the harmonized pop-punk ...
