"Music is part of me, my life," Mark O, young artist native to Geneva asserts. His taste for singing awakes at the age of 5, during summer in the United States, during a performance faced with a hundred of persons.In his return, not wanting any more to leave the music, it will be part of the choir of its school and it is only at 15 years old that he will begin his first lessons of singing in ETM of Geneva.Mark O is also an enthusiast of urban dances, passion which encourages it to take classes of Hip-Hop to the American Dance Center. He says besides "There is not a day when I do not train in my room by imagining me dancing behind icons such Janet Jackson or Justin Timberlake which are for me much more than of models".In 2005, he will be recruited by Licia Andris, singer of R’n'B, to be part of its team as member of the chorus on several concerts. From there, a friendship will be born which will encourage them to work together on the future plans of the singer.In the same year, Mark O also changes school to register in Adéléa2, where it will make the acquaintance of Steeve Baron, which will give him opportunity to begin writing his own songs.This young boy who likes on top of everything the pillars of the actual musical stage, creates a passion for voices as Aaliyah, Craig David, Britney Spears or else Nelly Furtado, Calogero and Christina Aguilera."I never say that I like Everything, because it is not true. I love Pop Music, groups of Rock and Hip-Hop. About the East Bay Banjo ClubThe East Bay Banjo Club was founded in 1963 as a nonprofit organization and dedicated to the spirit of playing happy banjo music. Currently there are about 40 very enthusiastic members under the musical leadership of Bill Cooper, the Music Director since 1978. From outright beginners to seasoned professionals, the club always welcomes new members. The range of banjo playing experience ranges from several months to as much as thirty years.The club has performed at hundreds of venues.
