Barry Williams Presents: One-Hit Wonders Of The 70S Music Barry Williams Presents: One-Hit Wonders Of The 70S Songs Barry Williams Presents: One-Hit Wonders Of The 70S Music Review Average Rating: (4.2 out of 5 stars) Blast from the Past Great compilation of songs from the "king of 70's teens" :) Submitted by joey (Indianapolis, IN) Was This Review Helpful? Who Is Barry Williams?? An interesting selection of One Hit Wonders, purchased by me for the amazing track 'Life Is A Rock' by Reunion. Incidentally, the version of this track seems a little longer than the one issued here in the UK, or is it my memory playing tricks. Also features the group Paper Lace, the Nottingham based group who all my friends at the time, loved to hate!, all in all, a very enjoyable cd, spoilt only for me by the fact that there is no reference to who Barry Williams is!, he means nothing in the UK. One Hit Wonders- Fun Listening One Hit Wonders will bring you back to the 70's again. It is a great mix of a little 70's rock, a little 70's disco, and a little 70's easy listening. Submitted by Dr. Dave (West Paterson, NJ) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No 1 of 3 found this helpful.
Another Compilation Error The person who is responsible for adding the Five Stairsteps as a one-hit wonder is obviously unfamiliar with their songs! Submitted by 123 (Chicago, IL) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No 0 of 1 found this helpful.

Barry Williams Presents: One-Hit Wonders Of The 70S songs
$11.99 This compilation is just what it says: number one hits on the American charts from the 1960s. It has a leg up on some similar anthologies, though, by virtue of its sheer quantity: 26 songs spanning the entire decade, which is pretty good value for a single CD. While it's true the selection is a little arbitrary, on the whole it's really good, and whether you care about chart statistics or not, it's an excellent disc if you're looking for an all-purpose collection of 1960s pop/rock classics. There are many core classics here, spanning rock, soul, pop, and the British Invasion: the Beach Boys' "Good Vibrations," Del Shannon's "Runaway," the Marvelettes' "Please Mr. Postman," Martha & the Vandellas' ...

Barry Williams Presents: One-Hit Wonders Of The 70S album
$41.19 Designed as a companion piece to a PBS documentary of the '60s, Shout! Factory's triple-disc box set The '60s Rock Experience is a basic collection of 59 tracks from the most storied decade of the 20th century (what a shame they weren't able to make it 60 tracks, though!). Actually, the compilers bend the rules a little bit and add several songs from the '70s -- the Grass Roots' 1971 "Sooner or Later," Pacific Gas & Electric's 1970 "Are You Ready?," ...
