La Historia De Los Razos...Los Exitos music CDs
$13.29 Singer-songwriter Ricardo Arjona has been recognized as one of the more distinctive voice in the Latin pop scene (he won a Grammy for Best Latin Pop Album in 2006, and 2007's QUIEN DIJO AYER was nominated for a Latin Grammy). QUINTO PISO, released in 2008, demonstrates the continued evolution of Arjona's personal voice. While his arrangements sometimes resemble those of mainstream Latin pop releases, Arjona's themes go well beyond the Latin loverman stereotype to engage social issues and deeply felt personal narratives.

| | Marco Antonio Solis La Historia Continua CD (2003) With DVD
La Historia De Los Razos...Los Exitos songs
$14.35 The founder of the celebrated Mexican band Los Bukis, Marco Antonio Solis is a cornerstone of modern Tejano and Norteno music. As evidenced by LA HISTORIA CONTINUA's opening track, the laid-back, romantic "Desde Que te Perdi," and most of the other cuts here, his style is sophisticated, his phrasing smoothly elegant, yet undeniably macho (from his early Los Bukis recordings, Solis has displayed a strong tendency towards classy emoting).

La Historia De Los Razos...Los Exitos music CDs
$13.95 This is the Cajun music of the dance halls, as this was recorded at the VFW Post 8971 and Ladies Auxiliary Hall, in Eunice, LA, on September 18, 1993. If you want to stay sharp then there is no better place to play your chops than at home because you want to appear good to the folks that helped make you, and because they are less forgiving and want more from you. This band makes no bones about drawing on and preserving the traditional music of Dewey Balfa ...

| | Adam Trio Douglass Seersucker CD (2007)
La Historia De Los Razos...Los Exitos CD music
$16.45 The Adam Douglass Trio brings the listener textures and soundscapes expected of a much larger band, but in the concise and powerful context of just guitar, bass and drums. Their first album, Seersucker, was recorded at the Opium Den in North Reading, Massachusetts with producer Doug Batchelder, who recently worked with Piebald on their latest disc. The Trio recorded live onto 2” analog tape to truly capture the magic of what happens when these three people make music together, and the sound is reminiscent of classic recordings played with a modern take. Bass and drums are heavy in the mix, and provide a turbulent, stormy ocean for guitar tones that pierce the surface like a nightmarish sea monster. Moments of clarity peek through as if order and chaos were tangled in a fight to the death. Douglass’s compositions are uniquely their own, mixing styles known for their groove, power, and sophistication. Adam Douglass (guitar) has played across the eastern seaboard with his numerous projects such as Unkle Funkle, an original funk/jam band; Hot Pocket, an original funk/sould band; Octopotamus, an early precursor to the Adam Douglass Trio; and Wicked Children, a 10-piece Radiohead jazz tribute. These bands have led him to open for such great acts as The Ohio Players and The Slip in such classic atmospheres as the House of Blues in New Orleans and Sunfest in West Palm Beach, Florida.Bassist Mark Snyder has played with some of the Boston area's finest players. A fixture on the Boston music scene since 1976, Mark's sideman credits include work with The Gary Burton Quartet, Tiger Okoshi, Bob Moses, Phil Grenadier, Steve Hunt, and Mike Metheny, as well as rock acts The Coasters, Brian Hiland, Tommy Rowe, Gary "U.S." Bonds, and the Marvellettes. He has performed all over the U.S. and much of Europe, and has been featured as a player and composer on numerous recordings. He is a prolific composer with a degree in Composition from Berklee College of Music.Mike Casano has been playing drums since the age of three. As a working professional drummer, Mike has performed and recorded with the legendary R&B/soul group The Drifters, appearing ...
