4 stars Sensitivity Displayed for a Lesbian Relationship
Unlike "Brokeback Mountain" that seemed to flaunt the sexual behavior of the characters, this movie handled the realization and "coming out" with great sensitivity. Courtney Love's performance was exceptional and subtle. I am not sure why it did not get a national release when made, but it handled the alternative lifestyle issues with a nuanced approach very rarely seen by the entertainment industry. Definitely worth a view.
