5 stars Beautiful Songs Beautifully Sung
Although Sibelius is one of my top composers, I have never listened to songs composed by him. What a mistake! This CD will give you great pleasure as his composing is tuneful, lyrical, and very much in tune with the lyrics. Soile Isokoski has a very nice soprano voice, and her Finnish and Swedish is impecable. A great recording all the way around.
