Listennn... The Album album for sale Product Description
Listennn... The Album album for sale by DJ Khaled was released Jun 06, 2006 on the Koch (USA) label. Miami radio fixture, mix-tape scene mainstay, and a member of Fat Joe's Terror Squad (Fat Joe executive produced the album and appears on two tracks), DJ Khaled released his debut album, LISTENNN... , in 2006. Loaded up with an all-star line-up of guest MCs--from Dirty South thugs like Bun B and Chamillionaire, to East Coast hardcore figures like Jadakiss and Juelz Santana, to Kanye West and reggaeton star Pitbull--Khaled packs his tracks with more than enough frenetic, synth-driven bounce to the ounce to keep them noticeable amidst the overcrowded field of early-2000s thugged-out party rap. Photographer: Earl "The Maverick" Randolph. Listennn... The Album CD music contains a single disc with 17 songs. ...See Full Description

| WHERES KHALED???? IF THIS IS KHALEDS ALBUM, THEN WHY DOESNT HE RAP? CUZ HE CANT. ONLY 3 TRACKS THAT ARE HOT, HOLLA AT ME, CANDY PAINT & MOVEMENT. By ALGIERZ_ROCKER (DALLAS, TX) |
| Ehhh, it's aiight. Listennn... The Album buy CD music .01-intro: Khaled talkin about how he's gonna take over, but he only produces like 2 or 3 tracks on here... Cool & Dre do most of the work.02-BORN N RAISED: the beat is straight, Trick Daddy represents like always, and Pitbull isn't THAT annoying on this tack, but Rick Ross jus can't Rap. Khaled needs so stop putting rappers on the mic just because they from Dade County.03-GANGSTA S**T: good beat, al 4 rappers hold it down, especially Bun B (as usual) 04-GRAMMY FAMILY: this beat is totally different than the rest so it soudns good to my ear, but I personally never like Kanye West, rhymes are too commercial(hence the title "Grammy Family), but this guy Consequence rips it though.05-PROBLEM: one of the tightest beats on this record. Beanie featuring Jadakiss, both of them sound like they;re trying to outrap each other, which is always good. By Key2daUnderground (Miami, Fl) |

Lil Wayne Tha Carter CD (2004)
Listennn... The Album buy CD music Lil' Wayne has been in the national spotlight since his days as the youngest member of the Dirty South's Hot Boys. On his fourth solo record, THA CARTER, Wayne is almost wholly on his own. There are no big-name guest stars (as with Petey Pablo's memorable turn on Wayne's previous album), only recurring shots from producer Mannie Fresh and Cash Money head Bryan "Baby" Williams. Lil' Wayne's easy flow speaks for itself; in a relaxed Southern manner, he waits for the rhyme to unfold before unleashing a torrent of lyrical lines, with consistent, understated beats pulling the tracks along. Not as "lil'" as his name implies, Wayne hits a peak with "This Is the Carter," a brash track that captures the essence of this potent hip-hop album.

Chamillionaire Sound of Revenge CD (2005)
Listennn... The Album songs With THE SOUND OF REVENGE, Chamillionaire's 2005 Universal debut, the Houston-based rapper makes the most of his major-label deal, which includes his own Chamillitary imprint. On SOR, Paul Wall's former collaborator amps up that duo's signature chopped-and-screwed mixtape sound with heavy-duty arrangements that expertly showcase Chamillionaire's deep, husky voice. The introductory title track is marked by machine-gun beats, and establishes the album's fierce, restless mood. But the disc's highlight is the utterly infectious single "Turn It Up," which boasts Scott Storch's distinctive chiming production and an appearance by Lil' Flip. Although fellow Texan Bun-B, Krayzie Bone, and others also show up, REVENGE doesn't rely on guest shots; this is Chamillionaire's show through and through, as proven by each track on this assured and potent record.
Includes a bonus CD
Personnel: Chamillionaire; Natalie , Killer Mike, Krayzie Bone, Lil Wayne, Pastor Troy, Rasaq, Scarface, Lil' Flip, Bun B.

Game Doctor's Advocate CD (2006) Top Seller
Listennn... The Album album for sale On his second major-label release, Compton rapper and former Dr. Dre protege The Game returns with more of the West Coast gangsta flavor that has been his trademark since the 2004 indie debut, UNTOLD STORY. DOCTOR'S ADVOCATE's production credits include a long and eclectic list of super-producers such as DJ Khalil, Will.I.Am, Just Blaze, Kanye West, Scott Storch, and Hi-Tek, but not, oddly, Dre.
That might be the point. It's a testament to Dre's industry weight that he can dominate an LP without touching it. While his beats are conspicuously absent, Dre's influence can be heard on every track. And on the rare occasions when Game isn't directly talking to or about him, the Compton MC's vocal tone, lyrical content, and delivery are paying Dre homage. At the same time, the Game's Chronic-inspired lyrics and arsenal of clever punch-lines add up to an undeniable charisma all his own.

T.I. T.I. vs T.I.P. CD (2007)
Listennn... The Album CD music It seems like T.I. hasn't gotten any rest since he hit it big with his sophomore release--2003's TRAP MUZIK. With an impressive array of LPs, mixtapes, countless guest spots, and enough industry legwork on his Grand Hustle label in the meantime, the self-proclaimed "King of the South" has been steadily putting in work.
With the follow-up to his multi-platinum smash, KING, T.I. carries a concept, pitting one persona against the other on the fittingly titled, T.I. VS. T.I.P. Speaking alternately as the rap industry mogul who moves millions and the street-corner hustler who just can't get the hood out of him, the ATL native is smart to slyly examine this duality on his own--a dilemma that has been known to dog the most successful hip-hop artists under the umbrella epithet "sell-out." Mannie Fresh, Lil C, Just Blaze, the Runners, Keith Mack, Danja, Eminem, and Jeff Bass are among the varied contributors whose production work makes T.I.'s fifth solo LP bang. T.I. VS. T.I.P. also features cameos from an array of superstar guests including Jay-Z, Eminem, Nelly, Alfa Mega, Busta Rhymes, and Wyclef Jean.

Rick Ross Port of Miami CD (2006) Top Seller
Listennn... The Album buy CD music In the hip-hop world Miami's gotten a bad rep--the city to produce Vanilla Ice and Luke not to mention the "Miami Bass" sound. Rick Ross is out to change that on his debut effort PORT OF MIAMI--a drug dealer's dream, chock full of cocaine-laced street tales that evoke the Miami of SCARFACE more than anything put out by the ex-Geto Boys rapper. With a slew of thumping beats from Jazzy Pha and Cool & Dre, as well as guest appearances from Li'l Wayne, Young Jeezy, and Jay-Z, PORT OF MIAMI makes a strong case for redeeming Ross's hometown.

We the Best CD (2007)
Listennn... The Album songs DJ Khaled comes from the DJ Clue school of disc-jockeying. He isn't known for his production skills and is far from a master turntablist. What he does have, though, is connects--mad connects. And as his second full-length release, WE THE BEST, shows, DJ Khaled's connections extend far beyond Miami city limits, as Lil Wayne, Fat Joe, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Jadakiss, Beanie Siegel, Juelz Santana, and Young Jeezy are just the tip of the iceberg. With production from Cool & Dre, Beat Novocaine, and the Runners, among others, WE THE BEST bangs with 12 tracks of neck-snapping, Dirty South slop.
